The purpose of Hope in Grace is as follows:
– To support pediatric cardiology research at the University of Minnesota by funding the Grace Doffin Pediatric Heart Research Fund, an endowment fund through the Minnesota Medical Foundation;
– To promote excellence in education in the field of neonatal and pediatric medical care;
– To reward exceptional neonatal and pediatric medical care personnel.

    Yeah I noticed that as well. At first I was thinking "I don't recall an 87 on NYR except for Brashear himself" then I realized it was a 28.

    Hey Tony - how was the meet up last night? I apologize for my lack of activity lately, but I should have multiple PJ posters to donate, working on a local donation from a brewery, and hoping to be more involved in the planning efforts going forward. Thanks for taking charge to move things fwd man!

    Josh, the manager, seemed equally pumped...then again, why wouldn't he be. We are going to provide him TONS of business on an otherwise quiet Sunday afternoon. The space is great, plenty of room for all of our donations and auction stuff. There are 2 full service bars, and table seating for about 250, with another 250-300 standing space. Great selection of beers. I had one of their small burgers and it was fantastic.

    I/We need to contact beer distributors (Heineken/amstel light) to see if they will donate some kegs. If so, then we can get $1/beer sold from those kegs to go to the charity (there will be no other beer specials). Same goes if we can get any liquor distributors (they are big on gin) to do the same.

    It was just Ryan, Jeremy, and I there, but it was still productive. Any donations you get, make sure to get as much contact info as possible for receipt purposes. We will try and do another meet up maybe a little after Labor Day....where we will have a much better idea of how much stuff we will have and i will have a better handle on promotions (flyers, handbills, etc).

    Sounds great. I will probably disappear for awhile here as my wedding is around the corner. But after Labor Day is when Diddy and I can give our full attention to Pearl Jam related stuff. I have to be reminded that Pearl Jam is AFTER our wedding and that the wedding is first priority. <:-P :P

    Yeah I'm not too worried! I've got other PJ posters to donate, you go ahead and donate yours for St Paul, it's all good. I'll be doing Lincoln as well, wonder if there'll be a preparty there?
