I have listened to just about every PJ show that has ever been recorded, and this is one of my favorites. I know there are a lot of people on here that only listen to official releases, but those people are really missing out. There are SO MANY amazing audience recordings out there and, IMO, the band hit their prime before 2000 (1994-1996), when the official releases started.
With all the love for Benaroya around here, I hope everyone listens to this short but amazing performance. Of all their Bridge School performances, the 1996 shows are especially dark and somber. Just amazing. This is probably the PJ show I have listened to the most in my life and most nights it is the music I fall asleep to.
I hope you all will seek it out and experience it.Found: Soundgarden Hyde Park DVD (Thank you for the gift!)
