    Just re-watched the clip from PJ20 of Eddie and Stone working on Daughter on the tourbus (then called Brother). 

    Are there any pics taken of them on the tour bus from the early days? Like from Clinch or Mercer or whatever?

    I think they probably operate like an NBA team.  Bus when its fairly close.  Plane otherwise.  
    A bunch of 50 yr old dudes in a bus for fourteen hours a day isnt happening. Aleve would be the new drug.

    I would prefer they travel in whatever way keeps them the most rested and comfortable.

    Bruce and the E street band travel on chartered planes....A few years ago for the show in DC I was working at Dulles(had to work on their plane actually) and it was a chartered 757. They arrived a few hours before the gig and then they all got off of the plane an into a waiting motorcade of Escalades and vans with a police escort to the show downtown.
