Anyone ever have Sam Adams Triple Bock? That stuff was the worst I've ever tasted.
I find most of Sam Adams to be just average. They have a couple of good beers, but the shitty ones are far more plentiful than the good ones.
Their holiday pack has some good ones and then they have this Cranberry beer that ruins the whole thing. It is miserable.
i've said it before...but...Sam Adams is the most over rated brewer in america. yes, credit them for helping spark the micro craze, and kudos to them for buying and giving the father of microbeer his beer back, but their beer is average at best.

It's crazy at how many damn beers they have in stores. I go to the beer section, and there is like 7 different Sam Adams' beers. It always seems like they are full-stock too...aka nobody is buying it, yet the store keeps tons of it on the shelves.
Their Nobel Pils is pretty good.

i'm sure people buy it, just not me.
Great Lakes and Boulevard are my go to brewers. almost everything they make is excellent.
Kestrel Super Lager 9% of pure filth! I went to a party when I was about 16 where the girl's alcoholic father had supplied this stuff when she asked him to get the beer in, it was all kinds of wrong.
Carlsberg is also shit, tastes like someone has dropped a coin in your pint.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
While it doesn't really count as beer, your post reminded me of a game we used to play back in college called "Iced".
Basically someone would bring a 6 pack or more smirnoff ICE to a party and a bunch of people would take them and hide them around the house... Over the course of the evening if you found it, or someone tricked you into finding it, you had to get down on your knees and chug the bottle... aka "you got ICED!"...
used to be so much fun....
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

The 40s were 32 oz. in Florida when I was in college. I felt so inadequate.

I drank that shit in high school like it was water. The beer store that we would go to had 12 packs for $5.

Blech!
It's officially on the record as "bathwater":

I probably drank more of this than water during my first 3 years of college.
Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

one of the cheapest (most disgusting) beers you can buy in Canada, their advertisement when I was in college was "get a 2-4 for $24"...
I had forgoten about Meister Brau
