    I am sooooo down with this!!!! I completely concur with your assessment of Firefly last year. I was at Firefly and MIA, and Firefly was way better organized with a great mix of music and an overall great vibe. The dogfish head tent was awesome and AIR CONDITIONED! :D

    I already bought my tickets for next year's Firefly festival, that's how impressed i was with the experience, they haven't even announced a single band! If Pearl Jam were to play there, that would be just PERFECT!!!!! :mrgreen:

    So please, please, pretty, pretty please PEARL JAM PLAY FIREFLY 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was at Firefly last year. Absolutely loved it. I hope the rumor is wrong; I wouldn't want to see PJ play that festival.

    I be ok with this. It's closer than Wrigley, which I am attending, but I have relatives that have gone to FF and loved the entire atmosphere and the music. A tour would be better, but I'll take this too.

    yeah people on the firefly facebook page are thinking pearl jam. It would be cool, but who knows. I already bought Firefly Festival tix last summer when they announced they would be returning. Just hoping for a semi-decent line-up :? Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Phoenix, The xx, Passion Pit, The National, Kings Of Leon, fun, Tame Impala, have been rumored.

    Last year was awesome. I could honestly say it was the best festival I have ever been too. I really hope its Pearl Jam and not just Eddie :lol:

    I'm glad they held off announcing it if they are actually playing it. I would have probably passed on the chance to go to Wrigley and missed out on the show of the year. Now I have the chance to possibly do both.

    its the lineup for 2013 that Firefly put up yesterday, its blurry but somebody enhanced hit and you can clear make out The Lumineers, Fun, Tegan and Sara, and Vampire Weekend, and actually The Lumineers and Vampire Weekend were confirmed earlier today for Firefly, the person who cleared up the image seems to think that Pearl Jam in the headliner in the top righthand corner, it kinda looks like there name but I'm not sure, but 55 Hours (a section in the delaware local paper) said last week Pearl jam are a very likely to be a headliner, guess we'll find out for sure Tuesday

    Forgive me for the dumb questions as I know less than nothing about music festivals..... If they do indeed play it:

    1. Will it be a full set, or something more like Bridge School?
    2. Would they only be playing on one of the nights.... I.e. one continuous set and they are done?

    Probably a short (by PJ standards) set with an encore. At least that's how the headliners did it at FF last year and how PJ did it at MIA. I'm no festival expert, however.

    Also... I love Pearl Jam, and last year, I loved Fire Fly.

    I do not approve of this happening. Too much PJ-related stress will wash out my Fire Fly enjoyment.

    My eyes can FINALLY see the pearl jam in the blurred pic. Took me 3 days and my eyes have adjusted and are now seeing it say pearl jam. For the first 2 days I thought all of you fuckers were tripping!!! :lol:
