The 11th on next years' tour according to the stats guy on Fans are Alright. He had it at 967 shows as of 10/30/10 and they will be at 989 after South America.

This could be wrong, but it's amazing that they will be at 1000 shows soon.

    11th/1000th show will be Sweden next Summer (where the action is festival in Gothenburg in June).

    That's a cool stat. I hope they don't make a big deal about it because I've already been telling people I've seen them like a thousand times already and people wil think I'm a liar or something :D

    I doubt these numbers too. The most played song according to the site is Even Flow at 684 times. You're telling me there have been almost 300 shows were Even Flow wasn't played???? I find that very very hard to believe.

    They are all on this site, aren't they? Quick, someone with less work to do than me start counting them, then add a few private shows in that probably aren't listed, and you have your answer!

    Right this Very minute in Rio, PJ are playing their 868th show. That's a fact(according the PJ stat tracker app).

    Exciting...where ever it is.

    However, I wonder how next year's tour will go with Soundgarden's new album coming out in May (probable). One of the bands won't be touring next summer. I kind of assumed that Soundgarden maybe wasn't doing one since they did that tour this year and then are hitting up NZ and AUS in the winter. I guess we will see!

    i don't trust that stat guy. i did this awhile back (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=150388&hilit=+shows) and got 843 (up through 2010). there are shows that were played that are not on this site (like the 2008 beacon show). i'm not 100% accurate, but closer than the stat man. i think he added up everything on the setlists page, which includes radio shows and saturday night live. here is the breakdown of ticket required shows:
