Dig It is a documentary that examines what happens when citizens, musicians, organizations, corporations, and government come together as one to solve environmental problems in their communities. Revolving around tree planting actions and beautification efforts in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, Dig it focuses on the convergence of different "modern day tribes" including what musicians can do for the environmental change with Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard, the rapidity of global warming with celebrated climate documentarian, James Balog, and Jeff Swartz, the CEO of Timberland shoe company, and their impact and influence for a better quality of life for all.
