Re: *** Newark Fanviews Here 5/18/10 ***
Great show - was in section 18 as well. Crowd wasn't that loud, but it was also tough to hear anything but the band since we were right by the side speakers. Heard some songs I never saw live before, but also saw a bit of a similarity between this setlist and the one from June 1 06 @ Continental -- both contained songs… -

The show was great, #14 for me and I'm pretty sure my first Of the Girl, great setlist, just seemed like something was missing from some of the crowd, I don;t know if it was because of the weeknight or what? Lots of people bitching about not enough songs they knew in the lobby. I would have to say if that was in fact the… -

Sometimes it is just right- things just line up (or pile up) and the right “fix” comes at the most perfect of times…this was Newark for me. We could debate for hours (hopefully over beers) of which setlist was the better and which crowd vacuumed all the energy from the room but time is in short order these days…and for me… -

I had a great experience at the Newark show. I picked up a single 10C ticket from the forum - partnered with a veteran of 50+ shows. We had section 19 / 3rd row with an excellent view of the stage. I had no complaints with the setlist - especially pleased to hear Inside Job, In Hiding, & Amongst the Waves. There has been a… -

That dude was awesome-had great energy all night! To those that said crowd sucked, I feel the crowd was a little of a let down, but at the same time you don't have to be jumping up and down like me to enjoy the show. But if you win the lottery, it's your obligation to give 100% and sing and rock out harder then anyone else.… -

After attending Newark and Msg1 here are my thoughts. I really don't care what the crowd is doing because I am there to see the band, and only the band!! Newark seats thru 10c were about 5 rows closer for me and I was seat 1 so had some room which I loved. At MSG,I was sandwiched between 300lb sumo wrestlers and 6'3 and… -

Great setlist. Band sounded awesome. Was stoked when they opened with Of The Girl, pumped when they did Brother and Leatherman. Jersey Girl was great (never new that was Tom Waits, shame on me). Alsways love me some Lukin and maybe it was just my wishful thinking but I thought the crowd finally perked up a bit then. I so… -

Great show- Really diverse setlist with rarities we were hoping for. Was surprised how much this rocked on a cold dark rainy tuesday...We were side stage right as usual and has a blast. Crowd was going insane. Highlights for me were Of The Girl opener, Brain Of J, Brother!!!, Footsteps,Jersey Girl was an amazing treat and… -

Last night was show #16 for myself and #18 for my husband. We sat in Section 17, row 15, and had a really great time! Especially considering we almost didn't get to check out any shows this time around!! We had done the Philly 4 (which wiped us out financially) and so we couldn't justify spending a shit ton of money on MSG… -

This was show number 40 for me, and it was quite an odyssey to get there. Woke up at 7:30 a.m. in Braintree, Mass., after last night's show, drove the rental car to Logan Airport for dropoff, took the Silver Line from Logan to Boston's South Station, boarded an 11:05 a.m. Amtrak train to Newark, arrived at nearly 5 p.m.…
