Guitar Trade in advice.

Heyas all.

I'm planing on trading in my accoustic Ovation Celebrey. I've finally come to full realization that the nylon back sounds awful, it dosent resonate and I think it looks tacky ;)

Anyway. Is there anything somone will recomend me in the 200-350ish area? Mind I'm taking lessons from Ben Harper's mom at the folk music center, so perhaps with something like that sound in mind.

I'n not a total newb to guitar selection, but I'm sure there are lots of pros here on this board ;)
I wish I was the 10Club holiday single, the one that never showed up...

    Epiphones, Takamine/Jasmines, Tacomas. Those are the three brands I'd look at.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    Larrivee- Very good in this price range.

    Believe it or not Fender DG's usually they come with fishmans.

    I have a DG 22CE and I love it.

    i have a fender and the sound i get is great. just shop around places are always having sales... i got mine under 350 and retail was somewhere around 500..

    Her son has the most wonderful voice and has written some amazing songs that make me feel good when I am down.
