i wasn't trying to be a smart ass.

that's a bunch of people's reviews of the guitar. i thought it would be useful to see what music other people use it for etc. etc.

ok what you have is called a Roadhouse Strat. Hot bright single coils just the way Stevie Ray liked them. It is a great guitar if you like fenders and you like Texas Specials, many people find them too bright for their liking but it is a good versatile guitar well suited to country style chikin pickin or just hot texas blues.

It's not the Jimmy Vaughn or TEX-MEX because those are made in Mexico. If it is made in USA it is a Roadhouse strat with real Texas Specials and not Tex Mex pickups.

Basically they are wound a little hotter.

yeah, i forgot to ask if it had the humbucker in the bridge or a single coil.

put heavy strings on it. do the stevie ray thing.

its got a humbucker and some single coils i believe,
    its very clean ,,, sounding
im using a deluxe 90 fender amp with it but i wanna start playing heavier stuff so
    i need a good pedal

it also has those little string rest on the neck that help support,

K it's not the Roadhouse, it's called the Lone Star Strat.

It has 2 texas specials and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates plus in the bridge.

it's a great guitar, new they went for around 850 to 900.

It's probably worth whatever you can get someone to pay

I'd give you about 500 if I wanted it realistically they aren't much in demand because there are so many to choose from.

If you are trading a music store would give you maybe 250-300 on a good day probably less.

they are only worth what it's worth to you.

    I have a 87 Les Paul I got for 500 but I love it.

that being said, it's a solid guitar. i can't see the humbucker in the bridge being of much use on it's own though. perhaps in combination with the middle it's nice.

the bridge hum is actually pretty sweet. instead of the uber bright single coil up their you get a fatter sound it's pretty good for solos, and that hum matches really well the the Texas Specials.
