so my alterations to my telecaster are complete.

it's a 96 american standard tele
originally came with an all-maple neck (the only one available left-handed)

changes i made:
-rosewood fretboard strat neck (i prefer anything but all maple). this neck was lying around.
-kill switch to mute the guitar (handy during recording)
-treble bleed (capacitor across volume pot) to keep some of the highs as the volume is turned down.
-new celluloid tortoise pickguard from warmoth.

i wanted stacked humbuckers for the noise reduction but i like the sound of the standard single coils too much.

It'd be really cool if it were right handed :)
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

That headstock just freaks me out. I always preferred the Tele headstock anyways. Like a Fender Bullet? Strat body, Tele neck and head.

The body turned out sweet with the pickguard... that's a very cool burst. Tobacco, isn't it?

I need a kill switch on my Esquire...
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

Nice job Exhausted! I need to get some time to do treble bleeds on my G & L and other strats. I'm playing quieter and quieter these days.

That Tele'll tide you over till the beechwood aged one is ready.
    How,,,,,did I GET here?!
