so my alterations to my telecaster are complete.
it's a 96 american standard tele
originally came with an all-maple neck (the only one available left-handed)
changes i made:
-rosewood fretboard strat neck (i prefer anything but all maple). this neck was lying around.
-kill switch to mute the guitar (handy during recording)
-treble bleed (capacitor across volume pot) to keep some of the highs as the volume is turned down.
-new celluloid tortoise pickguard from warmoth.
i wanted stacked humbuckers for the noise reduction but i like the sound of the standard single coils too much.

The body turned out sweet with the pickguard... that's a very cool burst. Tobacco, isn't it?
I need a kill switch on my Esquire...

That Tele'll tide you over till the beechwood aged one is ready.

i need to do a setup on it though. the intonation is out slightly.
