How do you play this part in Rearviewmirror

I can't figure this out. During the pause between "I couldn't breathe" "Holding me down" and so on. There sounds like there is a little slid here, or it sounds like when they're playing the F# and pull their finger off the low E and play that open. When I look at the live videos, they don't seem to slide down anywhere. I attached the tab at the exact part.

It's right here and here

you're right. just lift your index finger of the F# and hit the chord with an open E.
  • I'm not talking about that part. I know that one. I'm talking about the other parts I listed. When it goes I couldn't breathe doo doo Holding me down doo doo Fist on ??? Pushed to the ground. The B to C#m to G to A to F# part
    Makes much more sense

i just slide the chord shape up or down to where i need it.

perhaps only ed plays the part that way and the others don't.
