I've been learning how to do laser engraving recently and having a lot of fun! Went a little crazy with it and made these items just trying different things out. The darker set of reindeer coasters turned out really awesome except for the dark wood contrast. A lighter color wood would have popped!

    As it is now, I guess my thought is to see how the folks enjoy the items above as gifts. From there, maybe a couple people want to buy something and I can make a few dollars. I have limited access to the machine and could make some stuff. Then, if i could make enough money doing that, I would purchase my own machine, decide on a few products to specialize in and probably open an Etsy store. 

    As it is now, it's just a hobby/skill I'm working on. It would be good to know some realtors or travel agents as I have great gift/marketing ideas for them.

    Your stuff looks awesome. Can you share what laser engraving tool you're using? I'd like to look into this more as a hobby.

    Thanks @loadedgun - I have used the xTool D1 Pro 2.0. The instructor mentioned that they are not made anymore and have since been replaced with newer models. I have kept my eye on this model on marketplace and considered buying one for myself.

    Very nice.  Simply beautiful.  I keep repairing mine. Snow plow blasted it.

    Thanks @Loujoe - had one get demolished by a plow, then another run over by a car going off the road in the winter (no clue how). 

    Took the opportunity to try my first ever post frame project. It isn't perfect, but it came out pretty good. All pieces are connected via mortise and tenon and/or dowel rods driven through it all. Elongated it to keep it a bit more off the road than standard and went with a 6x6 cedar post. 

    For the winter, I will likely build a type wooden of wall to absorb the brunt of snow plow discharge.
