they are the only show on the tour where PJ hits the stage at 9:15....the will probably finish at 10:30....every time they play there it sucks....can anyone explain it? or why they keep playing there?

My husband and I - apparently....according to your philosophy - in Tampa - only attended a "greatest hits" show. While I personally would have liked to hear "other than hits" - I will NEVER cut down our band. Not ever. And I don't care much for those that do. We enjoyed just seeing them and being in the same room as them- after so many frikon years!. Not to mention...we met so many great PJ people in Tampa! And I am not going to complain.....they played "Evolution." Get a clue. Hopefully...they were just trying to re-introduce themselves to a fan-base they thought they (mistakenly) lost! Pearl Jam will ALWAYS remain RELEVANT! ALWAYS!

I hate elitist assholes like that.

Same here, I have shitty job. Looks like Im only seeing them once, which is going to be hartford.

Guys, regarding the whole curfew thing in Hartford: I'm not going to backread all the pages in this thread but here's what I know - Dave Matthews Band just played Hartford last Friday night and the show started at 9pm. The reason is apparently traffic in Hartford on Friday is really bad and all shows start this late. There is no curfew from what I understand on Fridays in Hartford. DMB played over 20 songs and it got over after Midnight. I'm sure PJ will have a 3 hour set, so don't worry. To read more, go to Antsmarching.org and find the Hartford Thread.

Well they are playing All Night and Who You Are almost every show.
I would be happy to hear just those (2) songs.

What's with the premeditative negative energy for Hartford. Way to ruin the show before it even happens Pulaski.

And it's going to be great. They weren't able to come to Albany or Saratoga Springs so Hartford's just going to have to seal the deal. And it will!

    Fail.
I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.

A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.

Hartford is gonna be special, much like Columbia was written off as the "after Roo" bummer before it actually played out.

You really think they didn't consider the hole they plopped it into between 2 MSGs and 2 Mansfields? Could be the sleeper boot of the whole tour.

I think Hartford is going to be great. It is a friday after an off day on thursday so the band will be fine. also they may be starting at 915 but there is absolutely no curfew at hartford. dave matthews took the stage at 10 a couple weeks ago and he didnt get off until after 12. also the band will def make up for the 06 hartford show which was bad because it was cold and was the night after albany which was one of the best 06 shows. and every show on this tour has been good. for all these reasons hartford is going to be great!!!!

I hope thats true but I expect a setlist quite similiar to the one played in VA Beach. Either way its only my second PJ show ever so I'll hear a lot of stuff I never have before. And hell its a Pearl Jam it has to be good!

I heard it's going to storm, meaning lightning and thunder. They say that the venue is rain or shine. Would they cancel the show for lightning?

I know I'll probably be in the pavilion, but a lot of people will be out on the lawn. A thunderstorm there would suck. That and the equipment would be in danger.
