  • How amazing was that?!?  Leg 2 opener, and sounded like they played 25 shows in a row.

Other Side: so intense. Ed singing while looking straight in the eyes of the person who had lost a brother (sorry if I messed this up)

    Daughter right from the start

    Footsteps at #2

10 minites jam on Purple Rain

Let’s not worry about Ed’s voice. It’s back.

That was an amazing a fun show. Smiled the whole time walking back to the Airbnb. The band was having so much fun on the stage. I was vocal about the shorter sets in the last but this show did not feel short.
  • Awesome show with some real treats. Band sounded amazing!

    Great show! Super set list!

First show since prior to the pandemic (first since the last PJ visit to Quebec City, actually). Footsteps hit me hard. Pandemic was tough.

Other Side, for John, was a stand-out.

Purple Rain blew my socks off.

We loved it, my 12th, my girlfriend's first.

Quebec City is such a beautiful town!

Fantastic show! The energy was so strong & the band played so good.

Purple Rain & Other Side? Sweet!

Ed mentions Halifax. Dude, come back again please!

The lightning and sound in the building was so good.

Awesome setlist! Opening with a slew of midtempo tunes seems like it could become a theme... which is great! Great buildup. i hope for Release as an opener in Hamilton or Toronto!

I'm loving the emotional performances I've heard about so far. Can't wait!

I’m with you. These sets are still a tough pill to swallow for me.
  • Great looking setlist last night.  Glad to see they're playing more Gigaton songs again.  Set length doesn't bother me one bit- the '98 tour is a top 3 tour of all time for me and most of those shows were well under 2 hours.  I'll take great playing and creative setlists any day.

Very tough. I need to lower my expectations for STL and Nashville. 8-10 less songs per show with much less variety is such a drastic change from what we’ve become accustomed too.

8-10? them playing 30-32 songs is on the high and rare end. most of the time it's 26-28, isn't it? so more like 4-6 fewer? that's not terrible.

New songs were great, especially whoever said.

Wish the band would mix it up more. Don't care about the shorter setlists, but corduroy, small town,  black, and alive seem all drawn out. Even porch is a bit too much.  So boring and predictable.

C Mon PJ get your shit together and mix it up!

MYM was great. Wish they'd throw in a few more bangers!

The slow open to this show was an excellent start to my 3-show run this tour. Seated Daughter opener was a treat. Venue sounded amazing.

Crowd seemed kind of low energy at this show relative to others I’ve been to recently, but I’m chalking that up to positioning. I was situated directly behind the empty back half of the massive pit section. Either way, the vibe felt right for my first go at this tour.

Shoutout to the merch worker who was having a great night and keyed in $20.00 for me on a poster, sweatshirt, and key tag on the way out the door! Totally made up for the GA staff who kept instructing y’all to walk through my row!

the majority of the fans at shows are casual or semi-fans. they need to play staples.
