So I see XPonential Fest is basically selling 2-for-1 tix ($30) for the lawn for WOD's Friday night show. And you're telling me there's not ONE lawn ticket available for PJ? This is total bullshit.

The Maestro claims there are no places available in Tuscany either. This market is crazy.

Jerry, we don't like the Costanzas.

Phillies lost because they couldn't score a single run against the Reds.

How about this ableism from the chair of Westmoreland County GOP:

“Look, we all hope for his continued recovery but unfortunately, it’s not 1932. You can’t hide FDR’s wheelchair today,” Bretz said. “So if he’s not dramatically recovered, that’s going to be a concern, and I think that’s why Dr. Oz is reaching out to have a debate. He wants to have him out in public, not hiding on Twitter.”

Like, would America refuse to vote for FDR today solely because he was handicapped? These people are really something.

I mean that dipshit Greg Abbott and other ghoul Madison Cawthorn are in wheelchairs and didn't stopped them from being elected, but whatever mental gymnastics they gotta do to for it to make sense to them.

I can't stress enough it's the Doug race that's bothering me.

Isn't Westmoreland County the capital of Pennsyltucky?

See I have a feeling that Shapiro is going to pull away from Mastriano while the Fetterman race is going to tighten. Last couple polls show Shapiro with 10+ lead. Just feel us suburban folk will not let that wacko win. Him refusing to talk to any kind of regular media and being completely absent from the airwaves is letting Shapiro frame him for the lunatic he is. He's also going to refuse to debate.

Also---my wife drove past a fucking Trump Store today in Chalfont, like 10 minutes form us. They used to just sell their dumb shirts in the parking lot but now they're actually in a building with a sign and everything. These people are beyond crazy.

Yeah, I could see this - because the Less Crazies don't really live in the 'burbs/urban areas, it's mostly in the boonies, so that's intuitive. I just hope that's the case. And part of my faith in numbers have been saying this for a while as more and more people leave rural areas completely.

Yeah, iirc there's a store like that up in the Northeast, too. It's so fucking weird.

hoping they sweep the mets today in the day/night double header. Kinda need it after last nights loss.

Looks like Bryce should be returning pretty soon, so that's great news.

Also no one mentioned the Phills 10,000 victory a few days ago? Of course I remember like 10-15 years ago they had their 10,000 loss

At least they are done with the Mets now.  Schedule blows again for awhile so will get back on track.  Still confident they make playoffs

Kristy Messina, a 43-year-old mother of three teenage girls, said her daughters inspired her to register for the first time.
Messina, who lives in Pittsburgh, registered this month.
“I am worried about my children, and worried that I may not always be able to help them as they navigate life,” she said.
“I’m angry that people think that they can still control us and want my children to get angry about it as well and fight for their rights.”
Messina said she avoided politics her entire life.
“Now I need to worry about their future,” she said. “It’s time to get involved.”
Welcome to the party honey - better late than never I guess.

This is my only hope with any of this garbage - that people (women, and those with an appreciation for, ya know, personal autonomy) not previously activated are now stepping up. It's a shame it comes to this, but like you said...

BTW - semi-related: I just cancelled my Inquirer sub. Womp womp.

No question these articles are good, but I've got my own personal beef with their editorial section and their attack on public ed. They basically are taking money from groups like the Commonwealth Foundation while masking an article as a regular Joe opinion piece, which is then convoluted on the front page to look like a legitimate article of news reporting. So until that ends I don't need to give them my money.

Plus I already know the FOP is trash.

    yeah that was pretty impressive.

Not gonna lie I turned off the game last night when the Reds took the lead in the ninth (mainly cause i had to get up for work real early today and also i thought they might tie it up but probably lose in extras )

I was trying to clean up for the night and going back in to the living room to see what happened, but I managed to catch the game winning hit. The Reds top 9th comeback was a little fluky to be honest.

I think we're about to see a flood of tix hit the market for Camden. Just saw a lawn ticket on Ticketmaster as a resell, and the app is now allowing me to list the extra I have.

Respect. Nothing wrong with that at all. This summer riding my bike at night down the shore, to the bar, while blasting 'Do it Again' was very much a highlight of my life recently.
