Great second night! Crowd in my area didn’t have the same energy as last night, but the areas around me were hyped up. My wife got Wishlist, which is her favorite.

What a great night. A bit more energy tonight I thought but still very emotional especially regarding gun control.

I got garden after 19 shows and 26 years. Incredible and then got leash on top.

Loved it. Very good double header.

Thank you pj as always. Incredible night and memories hope to see you soon
Now it all comes down to numbers, now I'm glad that I have quit

Went to both nights, GA. Liked tonight a hell of a lot more. Better crowd made it for me. Loved both nights song choices. So tempted to try and make Amsterdam 1... Will have to see.
  • Finally heard garden live. A ton of shows and that completes ten for me. Even better than night 1. So much energy and so many great songs played! Can't love this band any more. Who cares about the length of sets. 2 hours is more than enough

Night 1 main set with Night 2’s encore would have been nearly a perfect set list.

Last night was the foreplay and tonight they gave us a damn good seeing to.   That felt pretty damn special.

Felt some dread when they started Garden, thinking it’d be one of those where Ed pulls away or lets the crowd take over for the chorus.    Nope.   He nailed it.

Johnny Marr shredding his way through Throw Your Hatred Down was another highlight and a bit of an eye opener.   Knew he was a shit hot guitarist, obviously - just not in that particular style.

Not a big collector of bootlegs but this is definitely one I’ll be picking up when it drops

Both nights were amazing but tonight blew me away, a really great day of music all in. Only 2 songs repeated, amazing closer. My feet may not be happy but I sure as hell am!

Great performance by the band, Eddie’s voice really strong, Mike on fire, especially when he played for the kid at the front.  Felt very much like a festival set though; chocked with first 5 album songs, surprised nothing from LB and only two from Gigaton.  ‘Dance of the Clairvoyants’ was great live and like others have said, it was fantastic to finally hear ‘Garden’.  It felt way too quiet though, possibly restricted volume due to area but I didn’t feel it rattling my bones which took some of the feeling out of it all.

For me both nights were amazing but I liked night 1 more. I guess it’s because some of my favourites were thrown in there like Save You and Light Years.

I consider it a huge privilege to have seen them two nights in a row like this.

I will be going back home a happy soul.

    Thank you Pearl Jam.

It was supposed to be my 50th show today but the Vegas cancellation nixed that. Almost 30 years down the road with this band. Really it’s hard to fathom that it’s now 2022 and they are elder statesmen of rock playing two shows like this in the middle of Hyde Park. I personally preferred night 1 because In Hiding is one of my favorite songs and I hadn’t seen it played in several years, particularly when you add it was followed by Retrograde AND Light Years. If I could take the first half of the first show and pair it with the second half of this show, starting with Not For You, I might have my perfect show. The second half tonight was blazing. Black was magnificent and the level of the crowd really got raised towards the end. Loved seeing River Cross again and was happy to hear him dedicate to Ukraine.

Johnny Marr was superb on Throw Your Hatred Down. Oh, and Ed’s anti-gun rant (which I wholeheartedly agreed with) was really something. Terrible story about Jill and Olivia, I had already heard about it because they both posted about the incident on IG. He got very emotional talking about it. That’s going to be interesting to hear on the bootleg.

Just a wonderful couple of nights.

This was a spectacular show and a perfect compliment to night 1. Most the songs were pre 2000. It was a throwback set list and it was awesome! The crowd were electric and 10club section was rocking. One of the best shows I've been too. Even tho the size of the audience was insane it felt like being at an intimate gig. I was about 7 - 10 rows from the stage tbf.

    See you in Amsterdam!

My 10th show (following 9th the night before)

It definitely felt like a setlist that was picked to reward the returning fans who go to consecutive gigs. I have spoken to quite a few people who only went for a single night or who were seeing them for the first time that were a little disappointed not to get many of the big hits from the previous night.

Looking forward to my 11th show in Prague in a couple of weeks!

    Fantastic 2 nights

All the worry after the first couple of shows that they were just going through the motions blown away

Band and Ed sounded as good as they have for years.

Night 2 > night 1 (just) mainly because of the crowd but both fantastic shows.

The band seemed to be having a blast and that was passed on to the crowd.

And Mike is a guitar god.

I missed this gig because my wife was at westlife in Dublin.  Insanely jealous.  Seems like 2 brilliant nights. Only 2 songs repeated  over the two sets or am I wrong? I've a feeling the poland and Prague shows will be incredible.

  • Fantastic two nights, first time at HP thought 10 club area was brilliant. The band were incredible both nights, McCready on fire, and Eddies voice so good. Loved both set lists, night 2 just edging it. Next time I’m following the tour round Europe god willing.

Sound was much better than Hyde Park 2010. Good set list and atmosphere. Band were on form. Should have done both nights, but work life etc.

It started to cut in and out during Not For You I think. Kind of coming in waves a bit. Not horrible but noticeable. I wasn’t at Hyde park 2010 so can’t compare.

Great fackin show! Can’t wait for Denver

What i will add is the tempo  of the old songs  is back to original  tempo not 100 miles an hour and its for the  better . The songs are played now as they were on the  album speed wise.   So much better. And i like the  odd ed story but the show is now  2 hrs. Don't  scratch songs because  you talked a lot .

Thought this was quite noticeable on Garden in particular, with the riff sounding slower than it does on the recorded version even.

Did anyone else follow the sign language ladies at the side of the stage? I was transfixed by their signing and Ed made a point of going over during Porch on both nights, I saw them at Elton and the Stones too. Well done BST 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.

Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)

Can we all agree a huge plastic tree blocking most of a screen was ridiculously unnecessary:) We get it’s the Oak stage, thankfully it wasn’t the construction stage otherwise Ed & Mike would’ve been having to avoid a bunch of guys on a break staring at a pile of sand.
