I love Boggy depot.  I also enjoyed the solo tours of Boggy Depot and Deg. Trip.   Would love a new solo album.

Also loved that Boggy Depot finally got a vinyl reissue recently.
Anyone got a vinyl copy of Boggy Depot they’d be willing to part with at a reasonable price?

Missed the reissue and eBay/Discogs prices are a little high for me right now!

Sorry, only bought the one.  I really need to start buying multiples..  :(

I bit and grabbed the limited edition vinyl. I have and listen to everything AIC or JC has done on vinyl. All of it is stellar.

wouldn't mind a solo tour from Mr. Cantrell. Boggy Depot and Degradation Trip were great. I personally think he has some of the best rock solo albums out there compared to other artists that had solo albums (Scott Weiland, Chris Cornell, Eddie).

  • I got to see him several times in the years leading up to Degradation Trip.  He had Duvall’s band Comes With the Fall opening for him with William joining in on a lot of vocals.  I truly dug that band they have some really good stuff.  Seeing Jerry up close in small clubs was great.  I walked in way early to a club gig in LA and got to sit there and watch him warm up, nobody else in the room except Duvall sitting nearby.

I have this amazing memory of being torn between AC DC and Jerry Cantrell playing two different venues on the same night.  We went to AC DC but ducked out of the encore.  Drove from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver to Richards on Richards (a smaller bar) and walked in a few songs in.   Basically entered during Man in the Box... it was so awesome to stroll into a bar while that was playing.

I also felt guilty for ducking the ac/dc encore.  That's something I never do at concerts.   The next time I saw ACDC was in Edmonton years later and we got hit with a thunder storm.. epic show but I figured that was my pennance.

Covid is tough.  I'm noticing most tours are now skipping Canada (probably because we still haven't figured out big attendance events yet).   The Seattle show looks tempting, but I'm trying not to buy tickets while both the land and marine border are closed :(

Just got a single in the front row of Loge in St. Paul (there's no true "front row" there, as the front is GA, but I'm too old for that nonsense. It's a good seat; we'll see how my wife feels. If she wants to go, I'll have to buy a pair tomorrow and sell the single).

Planning to hit Chicago, but gonna wait on tickets because they are expensive and could conflict with the PJ tour. It does not look like the Chicago presale sold out.

I saw the date and thought the same thing about the potential PJ date conflict. I have tickets for STL and am going to try to pick up Nashville as well. If only PJ would release the dates for the rescheduled shows.

Yeah, we have STL, DEN, PHX, SD, LA x 2 and OAK x 2, so it could be a big chunk of time we’re away. Agreed, would be nice to have those dates confirmed so we don’t have to keep putting off other plans.

here is a somewhat random question.  I purchased a Jerry Cantrell Boggy Depot Green/Black Vinyl, from jerry cantrell.com on December 12, 2020.  It has been delayed probably 6 or more times over the last year, with a new date that it should be shipped on 10/9/21.  Is anyone else in this same boat? from what ive gathered online some people already have received theirs, when did you all order if you do have it? did i order a second pressing of this version (i know it is a repress of the original album) and that is why its taking so long?  i keep getting assured that i will receive it when i email them, but its getting pretty ridiculous at this point.

I ordered mine on December 1st and I'm still waiting. I think the last email I got said they were hoping to ship by the end of September.

I bought mine a year before you.  In December of 2019.   I believe it took about 3 weeks to arrive (given the stat holidays and what not at that time of year).

It sounds like you ordered one not long before they disappeared from the site.  I wonder if they ran out and/or are doing another pressing.  You'd think they'd cancel it if it ran out.  Long delays might indicate a 2nd pressing given how long it takes to get a record pressed right now.

Really scratching my head about the Boggy Depot delay. I mean it's getting to ridiculous status at this point. I know plants are backed up, but they need to choose a new pressing plant as I have not had this MANY delays with any other record. It's been so long I keep forgetting I ordered it and wonder if it's lost in the mail. Nope just another delay...

    Nothing since then. I suck.
