Can we please get a way to own the nugs streaming videos?

A lot of effort went into editing these streaming shows for home viewing.  Why not let us own these?  Either keep them available in our streams or sell them as a physical (Blu-ray/4K) set?  The market is there.   I’d like to be able to watch these again whenever I want.  You could give the profits to the road crew or a charity that supports them.  Now take my money!

I’d love a physical 4K disc. I’ve really got no interest in streaming. Physical media for life!

Agreed.  Why not charge $20 to purchase? Seems like a no brainer.

Seriously, now that both home shows have been released to stream let’s make this happen.  Donate the profits.  There are plenty of great causes like those the home shows supported, or vitalogy or to help those who make the tours happen but are out of work due to the pandemic anything.  I just would love to be able to own all these great shows and watch whenever I want.

I thought the same. I haven’t seen them, don’t want to bother streaming it. But if uncoils buy a dvd/blue ray I would and eventually get around to watching it.
Seems like an easy missed opportunity if they don’t. I kind of assumed they would eventually, or some cheap bootlegs will show up somewhere.

I think they will release them, which is why I didn't bother to pay for temporary access to stream. I don't see them doing a new audio mix and camera mix for just a 2 week stream

  • Superb idea - I would love to own some physical copies of the shows streamed so far.
I think they will keep streaming a show every 6 weeks to help raise money for the touring team etc. I am hoping for London 2 (FATAL!) and Krakow, and more US dates too to be streamed over the coming months!
Then they might start making physical releases available. Hope it's before then but I reckon they fear losing numbers if people own the specific shows they want.

I agree with this post.  I do believe that there were other posts requesting video, similar to the existing audio, for all shows.  It appears PJ put high production value in the setup and video of shows.  The issue for the prolonged delay could be in post production and editing.  I personally believe that in the future, as the band winds down, we will get releases of their concerts in video over time to keep PJ relevant without the heavy burden of the band carrying the load live.

They should totally release all 4 streams via digital download at the 10club store by Torrent. $9.99 for the torrent w/ password.

Streaming seems to be the present and future of music/video, unfortunately; video certainly. I am protesting, I haven't purchased any of these shows and haven't seen them. I would however gladly pay for a download or a DVD.

Yeah I hope they make them available for download or DVD / Blu-ray.

They will probably put all 4 streaming Pearl Jam videos up on Nugs next year for subscribers.

I'd certainly buy a nice Blu-ray set or something, but at the very least a DL from iTunes or Amazon.

I will buy a DVD or Blu-ray but will not rent a stream for one viewing.

Give us the DVDs/Blurays... There's still enough space on the PJ shelf..

  • Heck yeah, I'd pay to OWN these!  Preferably physical blu-rays, but I'd be happy with digital downloads that I own and can watch whenever I want years from now.  Maybe just release some of the bigger ones on physical (like the Home Shows box set), and then have them all be available digitally.  I would think a lot of people would spend a lot of money to own rather than rent with a few day window to watch.

That would be so nice!  Amazing how far we've gotten away from the concept of vinyl.  I would prefer not to rent my music

So now Hyde Park which is also excellent!!  Thanks to whoever is picking these shows as they are doing an amazing job.  Please keep it up. With that said, do you guys not like money??  Maybe you're waiting this to be all over and let us get a box set?  Digital or physical either way I along with a lot of other people would pay good money to own every one of these shows and view over and over again.  Now lets make it happen!!!

I would gander they have a deal with nugs to keep them streaming only.

Hyde Park I think was recorded by the festival people so that’s another animal. Similar to Lolla 2007.
