PJ needs to re-release WMA

The song fits perfectly with the times, would be a great fundraiser if the band re-recorded it or even released a live version as a single. This politically charged band has been silent for a long time on some big issues, let the music speak!

Same for Grievance and now Retrograde is growing on me.  So sick of the cycle of the status quo on inequality.  This has to change.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I think they should re-release the shirt too... I would definitely buy one!

    Indeed, grievance as well.

Pull the innocent from a crowd,
Raise the sticks then bring 'em down ,
    If they fail to obey,
    If they fail to obey.
For every tool they lend us, a loss of independence.

Slightly off topic: why gets WMA only played as a Daughter-Tag live? Such a great song and it deserves its own spot on a setlist.

Not off topic at all. This is an amazing song on its own. May be it's the drum part that's hard to replicate throughout the entire song, a bit like In My Tree.

Would love a Grievance - Green Disease - WMA - I am a Patriot -  Soon Forget quintet.

I definitely think it’s the drum part. The Atlanta ‘94 show had another drummer helping on WMA, even though Dave was still in the band. So I guess even he struggled with it even though he (I believe) wrote it.

I LOVE that quintet - what a great pairing. I’m assuming Ed would want to put Can’t Dent Me into such a lineup.

They played it with just dave a few times before that. I think there is just a couple guests on that particular version of the song, not that dave couldn't play it. Jack irons did a fine job with it in 95. Matt doesn't really play it the same way in "recent" years, but the band doesn't as a whole

I love the Live at the Garden performance when they play Lukin and then transition directly into Grievance.

They never released it as a single so it wouldn't be a re-release. But they did re-release vs. in 2011. So it would be a re-re-release.

Other than that they could double A side it with the Jay-Z  performance

I always assumed that it was a song they didn't bust out much because the studio recording had a lot of vibey things such as lots of reverb and subtle vocal things that wouldn't be the same live, plus the range vocally might be taxing on Eddie in general

For the recent versions they did in 2016, they changed the key of the song to E which is the same key when Eddie sings the lyrics with the Daughter tag so I think that maybe they had to work out an arrangement of it for doing Vs live in full and have since then busted it out a couple more times

I liked the later dusted off alternative version.  Stone's acoustic sounds great.
