10 years since the greatest show ever done

5/21/2010 was the most unreal arena atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. I would have loved to have been at Spectrum 2003 to see how these atmospheres compare. I’m sure South America is a whole other sense of ridiculousness. But my lord what happened this night changed my life. This was show #22 out of 38. Also right before the renovations at The Garden. The night before was incredible as well. I will never stop praising this show as the GOAT. I remember being on the LIRR after the show, and this guy was visibly shook and yelling “OH MY GOD”, turned out he was just a casual fan having a religious moment.

Personal Top 5 In-Person:
1. MSG 2 2010
2. Gorge 2005
3. Krakow 2018
4. MSG 2 2003 (BEATS NIGHT 1!!!!!)
5. Philly 3 2009

Great show. Shut out of 10club tix. Purchased a single nosebleed..  Best move EVER.  Crowd reaction to slow Lukin at 8 seconds in was EPIC!

Top 2 show for me. Only better was my first show 4/10/94 (man, Dave was just another level of snare aggression.)

I second this. Can't speak to other shows that I wasn't, but this was far and away the best show of the 29 I've attended (and that includes numerous MSG shows and Seattle 2 2018).

Amazing show and probably number 3 on the list of shows I’ve seen after Randall’s Island 2 and MSG 2 ‘98.  But my favorite show/poster combo.

    Thanks for the reminder =)

This was my 3rd PJ show (2008 MSG night 1 and the night before this show). I wasn't aware of the poster madness, just thought it was cool to have a print of the show you attended and I waited outside the garden for the merch to open and as soon as they opened , it reminded me of RATM show in 2008 Lallopalooza , everybody cramped to the front(as always PJ fans were civilized ) and I managed to get myself a print. Walking around MSG before the show with my poster tube, some guy approached me and told me that I have gold in my hand, which I didn't realized after a couple of years when I saw the prices of this print and I figured that I should probably frame it.

As always PJ at MSG is like a religious experience(and this comes from the mouth of a devoted atheist ) and looking forward to see all you wonderful people when they reschedule the March show .

I would also like to take the time and thank you all veteran fans that welcomed me with open arms to your community - the reason PJ shows are electrifying is because of you the fans and it is why I come back everytime.

Much Love , Stay Safe and see you soon

Let's not also forget that today is also the 10th anniversary of "MacGruber" - I went to see it opening night to kill time after I got the poster and still had a few hours before the doors opened.

Best show I’ve ever seen. Crowd was into it from the first seconds clapping to Corduroy. You could just sense it was gonna be a special night.

The band was on fire, the crowd was on fire, they tore through those first few songs and set the tone, played some incredible deep cuts, Betterman was next level...I can listen to this bootleg every day and go right back to being there.

At the time I wasn’t collecting posters but the next morning I really wanted it to remember the show by and also I thought it was just great art. I remember looking on eBay and thinking $100 was a lot for a poster but what the hell it was a great night. I’m very glad I made that purchase.

Tremendous show.  Sat 1st row behind the stage for this one.  Was able to grab one of MC's drumsticks out of Thin Air as he tossed them to the crowd after the show.

I wasn't there so I can't vouch.. unfortunately because of where I live my experience is mostly with West Coast shows.   My favorite of the 27 shows I've seen is still the Gorge 2005.    Magical night :)

Second favorite PJ show (behind the Halloween show closing The Spectrum)

Me and my friend got there kinda late due to NYC rush hour. Totally missed Band of Horses which kinda sucked. By the time we got to our seats a few minutes later PJ hit the stage.

So many highlights: Hunger Strike w/Ben Bridwell, slow Lukin/cat skinning, his story after Nothingman about accidentally doing "The Hitler salute" in Germany

I remember that merch line so well!  That was back when you could get into the first merch booth without going through security so there were a ton of flippers.  I got two with the intention of trading one for Night 1's poster, which I had missed.  The dude I sold it to definitely got the better end of that deal but still happy to have both!

Can't believe it's been a FULL DECADE.  Listening to the boot right now - Breath at #5!?!  Insane set.  I don't think Backspacer ever had a real "proper" tour; this show felt like a good mix of songs especially all of the deep cuts we heard!
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

Wasn’t there so just asking the question for those who were at both:  Better than ‘08?  That All Night in the setlist so perfectly placed and back up choir?  Man!  Seems like a good one too

plus black keys & band of horses as openers... pretty good, pretty pretty pretttttty good

I ve been to every msg show and the ‘08 shows are easily the two worst imo.   The choir was a failed experiment.

top three msg shows for me are:
    9/11/98
    night 2, 2010
    night one ‘03
