More Important: Beating Trump or Stopping Bernie?

Given how passionate some of us are about these two prospects, I'm curious which is more important to you.
(I would have thought this was a ridiculous question, but with the idea circling that some Democrats may refuse to be on a ticket with Bernie if he becomes the nominee, it might be worth asking.)

Like all the experts keep sayin Bernie won’t beat the Baffoon but Biden will? I guess getting Bernie out of the way should be the focus but I’m more concerned with the Baffoon can’t even imagine what 4 more yrs of him will look like ..

I don't think the Flying Spaghetti Monster himself could beat Trump.
Even promises of a heaven with a stripper factory and beer volcano would not be enough.

I like a lot of Bernie’s stances...though not what I think would be his inability to work with the Dems, much less the GOP.  To me it’s obvious...stopping Trump and what believe is possible authoritarianism.

Of course I believe that more Americans are scared of Bernie than Trump.  Socialism is a scarier word (and/or seems more likely) than fascism to most people.

I don’t think Bernie would be a very effective President but I do think Trump is far more dangerous.  A tougher question is who is more important to beat.  Trump or Moscow Mitch.

stopping the most corrupt, most cruel, least honest, and most orange president in american history should be the number one priority.

The currently elected president is a lying narcissistic racist xenophobic white nationalist who could care less about the Constitution and the rule of law.

Now imagine his advisors, believers,  followers,  supporters, and voters.
Then imagine what this kind of fear, hate, and ignorance is doing to America.

Anybody voting for "Stopping Bernie Now" will be beaten mercilessly with 5,000 wet noodles and, man or woman, will be made to wear one of these outfits until the end of the election:

    Third option:
Just voting for whoever I think will lead the country the best based on ideals that work for 99.99% of Americans.  I don't care about stopping Trump.  I mean, I do, but it's not a reason I'm voting for any one particular candidate.  I vote for things, not against.

Stopping Bernie is for clowns. He’d pound Donny’s cirrhotic dick into the dirt in a debate, whereas Biden’s eye might pop out or he’ll talk some nonsense and get really angry. If Joe is the nominee, I’m afraid to say he’d lose. Everything.

Bernie would pound Donny in a debate, but debates don't really mean much.  Hillary pounded Donny and she lost.  Independents don't care for Sanders, African Americans are ambivalent about him, and conservatives can't stand him, the election turnout demos would be bad, bad, bad for Democrats.

I respectfully disagree. I think a wider range of electorates do like Sanders, and that number would grow once people actually heard him out. I don’t believe most people who don’t like him have ever really heard what he has to say. They hear/see the word socialism and it turns them right off.

I think there are loads of independents and even plenty of conservatives who haven’t been able to vote in primaries that would come out for him. When people really listen to him they learn how much he actually stands for working families.

As for his policies, no, he hasn’t said how he can get it passed BUT he actually has a platform, and that’s more than Biden can say.

They hear/see the word socialism and it turns them right off.
so where are they at?  why arent they showing up in force to make him the nominee?
and has he said just how he WILL  get his platform passed? not to mention fully funded....

I think there are loads of independents and even plenty of conservatives who haven’t been able to vote in primaries that would come out for him. When people really listen to him they learn how much he actually stands for working families.

As for his policies, no, he hasn’t said how he can get it passed BUT he actually has a platform, and that’s more than Biden can say.
the following is a screenshot of a list of open primary states.

Again, where are these people at?I would have pasted the link this was pulled from but this website has a big fucking problem with c/p in mulit quoted posts via mobile browser or firefox specifically. will link after.
Well, I believe Sanders won the Independent vote in 13 of those states but I could be wrong. Obviously they didn’t represent a large enough portion of the turnout. Those votes are super important in the general and Sanders has them.

Yea sure, Sleepy “Woke” Joe doesn’t have a platform. In fact, he has no policy platforms to speak of and hasn’t said boo about them.

Sorry, Creepy Joe does have a platform. My bad. I just don’t think he’d do dick with it. Sanders would at least give his ideas his best shot.

independent or unaffiliated registered voters represent approximately 43%(likely more due to those gop who left the party) of voters.

again I ask you WHERE WERE THEY? in 10 of the states listed that have voted they wouldn't have needed to declare affiliation just that they were voting in the D primary. There was no need to vote gop since Dipshit is the only one running after IA and NH.....

Yea, a former democratic VP and senator wouldn’t be able to work with a dem controlled house and maybe senate to get his legislation passed versus a socialist Indy claiming to be a dem’s pie in the sky, total reordering of the American economy to the tune of trillions legislation. Sounds about right.

Bernie has to win the primaries prior to the general and thus far he’s running worse than Hillary.
