Which live standard would you ditch to make room for the new stuff?

With a new albums worth of new songs about to be road tested something has to go.

Eddie asks you which one of these needs to be crossed out to make room - so what are you gonna ditch and why?

Haven't been into DTE for a long time. The rest I still love.

The time has come for Betterman to take a rest for awhile.  Sorry for those who love this song and the sing a long but, it has been on rinse and repeat for a long while now.
His eminence has yet to show.

Even Flow for sure.  And DTE used to be great (and still is), but it used to be greater back when I heard it the first few times.  Now that it's a given at just about every show, some of the luster has been taken off it.

My son would say DTE.  The only reason he goes is to see the other ones on this list, but for some reason he hates that one.  My brothers and my wife only seem to go just to see the ones from Ten.  I think they should just play longer, or cut out a couple of the covers.  Baba could be skipped for quite a while, and I wouldn't miss it.

Easy call out of those options, although it is probably the least likely to ever be pulled (along with Alive).

I could do without Alive, Jeremy, and Evenflow being played at shows when they play the same city multiple nights but the crowd goes extra bonkers for those hits obviously. DTE is just blah anymore, I can do without it for sure.

DTE could be mixed in and out more. I get why Even Flow needs to be played but would be fine with giving it a rest. The rest definitely keep (in particular RVM).

Evenflow is incredible live and Jeremy isn't played as often as many people think.

I love Jeremy, and it doesn't get played at every show.

For me it would be dropping even flow and dte.   I loved DTE, it was one of my favourites off yield, but I've seen it at every show since that tour.

I think the problem grows with seeing too many shows.   The parts that repeat get less exciting.  The staples played at every show, and the same songs being used for set closers.   Obviously it would be nice if they mixed it up a little, but they already mix up 80 to 90% of the set, so it's not world ending or anything.

OR - Oh hell no, I'm keeping them all!
I voted to keep them all.   As I think they will.  Those are their main standards.   I think they will play roughly 5-7 new songs per show, once the album drops.  They won't kill those main ones.  It's always someone's first concert.  Can you imagine being a fan for 20 years, and then finally getting to a show and they dont play Even Flow?   Or Alive?

Porch and RVM are USUALLY separated by different shows anyway.  (Even though some of the stadium ones had both).
Corduroy takes hiatuses every now and then.  Given to Fly feels more rarer lately.
Jeremy is definitely the most rare of those...still a standard, yeah, but not played as much as EF and Alive.

    Near to death.

I’ll go Even Flow on this one. But, if I’m thinking covers, I have to admit I’m a bit tired of RITFW. Sorry Uncle Neil!

I guess a lot of these (all of them? nah.) might be considered to be a bit "played out" but they are the songs that made them the band they are today. Without the big hits of the 1990's, they aren't PEARL JAM.
With this said, I'd say "Porch" would be the one to drop. Yes, it's a killer song for Mike but it's the one on the list that wasn't ever a "hit" in any form. Heck, it didn't even make it onto that Greatest Hits compilation back in 2004.

I was thinking about this yesterday. With mainly single show runs songs like porch and rvm could become “rarities” with new material and actual rarities will be long, long odds

I think songs from the new album will make it tougher to get deeper cuts from the 1990's (Garden, Dissident, Whipping, etc) and really knock out a lot of material from Binaural to Lightning Bolt (maybe just the hits and/or ones that are easier on Ed's voice).

I would lose DTE,  You have new fans that are going want to to hear Even Flow, Alive, RVM, Porch and I am Ok with that.  My girlfriend who is not as crazy about them as I am knows those songs so it makes it easier for me to take her.  LOL
