Think they come from Northern Ireland, but not 100% sure.

I'll attempt to figure out the other band later. Must go home now. Speak soon :D xx

LMFAO at this thread. That was one of the least subtle things I've EVER seen... and still so much confusion :D

Can't see it though - wouldn't really want to see it either! Maybe if someone were to join them on stage for one song like in Toronto or something, that would be nice... but come on! Can anyone REALLY see that happening?

The whole thing is still quite interesting though - I hope there's no support and PJ come on stage and play for like 10 hours and it turns into just a big jammin session and anyone can get up on stage and join them and then they all come back to my house for drinks and pizza :)

But seriously why that band? Did someone just randomly pick a band name out of a hat?!!

exactly, it would be an almost perfect symmetry..and I checked, they're in between tour legs at the time, so they'll be home ;)
If nothing else, B is almost certain to make an appearance...but as opening band, maybe doing the early more rock stuff... I can dream, but it is possible.
But obviously they can't actually say it...Ebay prices are crazy enough as it is!
Here's how it all started... somebody said something about how PJ are opening for them in Hawaii and they seem to return favours for eachother these days - and the lads SHOULD be at home apparently. How fucking unbelievable would that be? Considering the Astoria was never released, do the lads think THIS is their first 'show' in Europe in 6 years? Well it's their first show in their first 'tour' in 6 years so it means something! And since their two opening bands are both out of the picture and there's no mention of anything else, we might be in for somethign a bit special... although for me, it can't get more special than JUST PJ :o but I'll take anything :)

here now, that'd be sweet if "that band" did show

i think the best we could hope for is an extremely long set by pj and maybe an appearance by yermanwithdabiggob in an encore???

time is whittling by and soon enough we'll all be queuing up for our 10c tickets yeehar

Yep, I reckon that would be a big possibility - I think that may also be the accommodation question sorted out :p

why random? that's their home town for a start.

Plus PJ opened for them in the past, there's talk of opening for them in Hawai at the end of the year...
And they did appear on stage under pseudo names in the distant past (like 20 years ago when I was still a fan), though I wouldn't know if they've done it recently.

I don't say it will happen, most certainly not (though I'd bet money on blindman putting an appearance).
But it is 'possible' and could be fun (I'm not talking about a serious set there, covers and stuff more like).

Though given the choice, I'd take the 10 hours PJ gig proposed by Helen in a second...but that's even less likely :)

Now put that in line with what we've been discussing in this thread and... what do ya get? :)

I'm even more confused now.

Probably something to do with the fact that I know absolutely nothing about the band you are all talking about. I never knew they had been on stage together before or supported each other.

For some reason I always thought the two frontmen didn't get on

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
