Would Pearl Jam perform at the Eurovision Song Contest?

Madonna is performing this year. She got 1,3 million dollars for the gig. Justin Timberlake performed a few years back too.

We all know Pearl Jam is like tops two tours away from playing a full ABBA cover:

So do you think they would accept 1,3 million dollars to perform the at ESC?

Eurovision is great and currently on in my lounge. A yearly treat of all things camp, naff and occasionally brilliant . I can't think of anything more weird and wrong than Pearl Jam turning up to play it wherever it is.

Edit: Norway for the win this year btw

Admittedly, I don't know what this even is...I googled it and still don't know. Too lazy to read about it, I guess.
(I will fully admit, by the way, that this is probably one of my most useless posts ever in this community).

I hope people don't think I was taking a shot at SC. I was making fun of myself as my post really didn't add anything to the conversation.

I'm in Europe (Italy) and I don't even know what this is. But maybe it's just me not watching any TV lately and just getting drunk listening to Stoned Jesus and waiting for EV in Florence.

A song contest between the European countries. Artists like ABBA and Celine Dion have performed there before they were famous.

Israel is an associated state of the Europe and is part of the multilateral European Neighbourhood Policy which focuses on countries neighbouring the union, it also includes countries such as Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Have PJ ever played Israel? If they haven't yet, I can see them not doing so... for political reasons.

Well, they were really Young's backing band. Not technically a PJ gig.

Maybe a fan can choose the song (like in 2012).

Well now that Netherlands won and it will be held in Amsterdam next year who knows lol - i joke!  Good job Madonna was paid that much as her performance put final nail in her career coffin. It was beyond awful. Eurovision is basically a 4 hour tv show full of cheesy euro pop and a reality check for the UK on how many countries really dislike us now when it comes to the voting.  Its such a crazy event that you cant help but watch it.
