Live & Bush Tour

timdwillitimdwilli Los Angeles, CA Posts: 294
I figure this tour will warrant its own thread. I went to the kickoff show last night at the Roxy and it was fantastic. I hadn't seen Live since 95, and Kowalczyk sounds just as good (and looks the same) as he did back then. I really enjoy both catalogs, but I guess I like Live a little more as I was a bit disappointed when it became apparent that Bush is going to be the headliner for this thing. Either way, should be a great tour especially when throwing Our Lady Peace in the mix. I know the prices are a little steep in some markets, but if you are on the fence, I say go!

Man, OLP was one of the best live shows I've seen. They played a little club called The Blue Note during their Clumsy tour back in 1997. Man oh man, they rocked the place.

Got my tickets.  Saw Bush last year for the 1st time actually (when they toured with STP) and I really enjoyed them.  Live was my 2nd favorite band for a very long time.

Will probably go to the Boston show, always liked Live, seen them a handful of times, they always put on a good show. Never seen Bush (insert Revenge of the Nerds style joke here), surprised they'd headline. Maybe they'll alternate nights.

Got tickets as well. Saw Bush back in college. Saw Live open for GNR two years ago and they put on a great show.

I saw each of these bands a couple times before 1999 and haven’t seen them since. Very much looking forward to this. I saw OLP for the first time while on spring break in Panama City In 98 at a small club with a pool in the middle of the club. Raine jumped in at the end of the set followed by me and about 20 others. It was a great show.

I first saw Live when they were still Public Affection.
Always loved their shows and saw them a bunch of times 1992-1998. Including when Weezer opened for them for 2 nights at the 9:30 club.

Haven't seen them since the first tour with Counting Crows in 2000.

    Might go this time

Just grabbed a 2nd row ticket for tomorrow night in Boston.

Of course while I was checking out Live Nation dropped a pair of front rows on the map (bastards).

So anyone looking to go to the Boston show, there's a pair in 2A on there right now.

Was trying to find an official LIVE thread, but failed. Anyway, does anyone know how to get the bonus disc for the 25th of Throwing Copper (Woodstock 94 performance) without buying the entire box set? TIA.

If you just want the music, you can download it from iTunes or Amazon.

I only see disc one for d/l on Amazon. Woodstock 94 is D2.

EDIT: I found it. It's not included in the 25th edition of TC, but its own separate release. $10 for 9 songs in MP3 format though, that seems high to me. Maybe that's the norm though, as I usually only buy physical media.
