You know.... For some who claims not to be a racist, it seems like pretty big issue for you.

Amazing how you stop talking about fiscal conservatism now that the blah man is out of office.

Oh for Christ's sake, you know I'm saying that those two faced consequences for being deemed racist (I don't think they are) so I'm asking should Hillary face consequences for being racist here (which I don't think she is...but if a republican said the exact same thing...you'd be calling him/her racist)

I have to agree with you on Megan Kelly. I honestly don't believe her to be racist (although I haven't followed all of her gaffes, to be honest), I think she is just incredibly ignorant on history and racial issues. I have, in the past, held some simliar opinions as she has until I educated myself. I am not racist one iota. But I have been woefully ignorant on these issues in the past.

Roseanne? that planet of the apes comment was pretty damning.

Yeah I guess so. I dunno. I've been trying to separate racist comments from actual institutional racism. I've been using Donald Sterling, the former owner of the Clippers as an example. They kicked him out of the league because his mistress audio-recorded him saying that he didn't want her hanging around the black players at the games. Sure that's racist. But NOW they throw him out of the league? About 15 years ago, he was sued for not renting to black people (he owned section 8 housing), and the Court ruled against him. THAT'S RACISIM. Real racism. But why didn't the NBA throw him out then? How are dumb racist comments taken more seriously than actual racism?

With Sterling? So you're saying that the case against him from 15 years ago wasn't in the public eye so the other owners turned a blind eye but this recent comment blew up on social media and in this PC age he was fired because of it? If that's what's you're saying, I completely agree.

Exactly.  And obvious to most of us.  The only problem is, some people are just to serious about this kind of thing.

Anyone remember the song "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)"?  I saw Scott McKenzie perform that song at an anti-war (Vietnam era) rally on campus at San Francisco State in 1969 or '70.  After that song, he made some comments, mocking the racists who were perpetuating that war and somewhere in there in doing so used the term "slanty eyed people".  Well, a couple of very buff, very fierce, angry black dudes (I'm guessing they were 60's Black Panthers) rushed the stage with clenched fists and got right up in his face and said "What the f*** are you talking about?" McKenzie begged them to understand he was joking and that it was a put down on racists, not a racist comment.  I felt really sorry for the guy but at the same time could see that he made a poor choice of jokes in those circumstances with that crowd.  McKenzie went on to sing a couple more songs as planned but his voice shook throughout both.  Those kinds of jokes just don't go over well and very few people can pull that sort of thing off.  The smart thing do do is just don't do it.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Clinton asserted it was "childish" to "paint with a broad brush; every immigrant is this, every African American is that," as she discussed the Democratic Party's "political correctness," during an interview with Recode executive editor Kara Swisher in New York City on Saturday.

Swisher asked Clinton a question regarding a quip that was previously made by Holder, but mistook him for the junior senator from New Jersey: "What do you think of Corey Booker ... what do you think about him saying 'Kick them in the shins,' essentially?"

"Well, that was Eric Holder," Clinton said. "Yeah, I know they all look alike."

She was discussing the "broad brush" that people tend to paint non whites with....the comment followed that same narrative.

Nice try Unsung....try calling out your boy tRump for a change

I agree but I do think she should know better than to try to make such a joke.  Like I said above, very few people can pull that sort of thing off.  Very few.  And she is obviously not one of them. Never-the-less, it's a minor incident and pretty much a petty distraction.

Yup, clearly Hillary was being sarcastic and taking a shot with the "all look alike" comment. Funny how context matters. I'm not even a Hillary supporter, but this is more than a reach.

It's funny that when you google that comment the first things that pop up are Washington Examiner, Daily Wire, Zero Hedge, RT, etc.

Unfuckingbelievable that people are so fucking ignorant on a consistent basis.

Actually it was the perfect response given the discussion.

Nice attempt to cover for her.  "Well done".
Are you trolling (then you should be banned for this) or do you have problems understanding context and interpretting human beings speaking?

Run off to a Ted Nugent message board instead and LOL to memes about sexual assault victims like you have done on here before. This kind of shit is pointless and drags down the board.
