Did anyone see Rage Against The Machine at the Hollywood Palladium on July 23, 2010? It was my first time seeing them and they were amazing!

I saw them twice last month, they were incredible. Easily one of my top ten favourite live bands.

No, but I was just listening to their first album on my way to work today and it still is as shockingly good as when I bought it in 95 or so. Just absolutely stellar from start to finish.

The time for a new album is now!
In this political climate how could they not release something.

Going to have to pick up the Grand Olympic live album after debating if I needed the MOV pressing for years. I was at the show they recorded for the live DVD, but mainly want to grab it for the chance to get it signed at Morello's upcoming Atlas Underground event.

How bout some new music? 90's bands are letting me down
  • Rage basically existed for this period in time. Its silly they aren't recording something. Even a 3 track EP.

  • I need to know how these are mastered before I buy. I have an OP s/t, but everything else I have are the MOV pressings. Which are fine, but most likely sourced from CDs or basic digital files.

I still hope that someday they release a video of their Alpine Valley show from 2007.

Agreed. Musically I can get in to Prophets, but the vocals are sh-ite
    It's a hopeless situation...

Is this just a cash grab to capitalize on the vinyl craze? Every time I hear about one of my favorite artists from the 90's doing this, I instinctively feel the urge to buy them all, but I already own them all on CD so I do my best not to impulse buy because I love vinyl.

I don't know, I do know that vinyl is my preferred medium to listen to music.  I rarely listen to cd's or my Ipod anymore.

I can't believe how bad Chuck D's lyrics are on that album. Feels like he phoned it in.

Needs to be witnessed live.  Fun show.  As for playback?  Nope.

Does this mean the hot garbage mix on Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium is getting fixed?

Question: for the video "sleep now in the fire", did they really play on wall street and get arrested?

RATM is currently in the 9th slot. I'd like to see such an influential band get in on their first ballot.

It’s their second year on the ballot.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
  • They’re touring next spring? Did I miss something? Saw this on the above mtv article
