Saw 2 shows on the 2007 tour. They were incredibly tight as far as I remember. I read a tour report in the german edition of Rolling Stone where Jeff said that the Dusseldorf show was one of the best they did in a long time. Check out that setlist! That's one I would wanna have!
    Crazy show!!
    Athens 2006. Dusseldorf 2007. Berlin 2009. Venice 2010. Amsterdam 1 2012. Amsterdam 1+2 2014. Buenos Aires 2015.
Prague Krakow Berlin 2018. Berlin 2022
    EV, Taormina 1+2 2017.

I wish i was the souvenir you kept your house key on..

If they release them, will people complain if they are used for the Vault series vinyl....?

I want to see them all released, not a slow drip, drip, drip as a $$$ shakedown, like the average Pearl Jam doesn't spend enough already

Yes many years later. Shot on super-8. Too bad they won't release it in a highdef format so you can appreciate the effort and the grain.

wouldn't mind 2004.  The Boston shows were fun even if a bit sloppy.  Would love 98!  That tour was heat.

I'm somewhere in between. If given the choice, I would rather get a few (all!) of the shows from 1995 and 1996 (and more from 1998).
did they even record the shows prior to 2000? they recorded a few of them, but not sure that most of them got recorded, because I would love the 1996 Maple Leaf Gardens show, that should be on vinyl
They definitely recorded most if not all of 1998, considering that Live on Two Legs is comprised of performances from various shows.
Check out deep 13.  Brett was recording things from virtually the very beginning. The seriousness of those recordings did not begin to become as intense until 1993, and thing began to be layered on year after year.

The tours prior to 1998 are likely very hit and miss, because Brett's primary role was the live in house mixing engineer.   The problem they face with many shows prior to the 2000 tour is that due to this, and how they were recording, at times large chunks of the show are not present on the multi track mixes he was working on.
His eminence has yet to show.

One final thing I would add about most of the 2004 tour, I suspect that due to the nature of those shows being PAC fundraisers they can't either release them, or there is a time restriction before they could.

I think the time restrictions would have definitely have passed, but I thought they were just events for registering people to vote & generating interest in the election, I don't recall any correlation to supporting any PAC, but it has been 14 years & memory at times is shit, so obviously I could be mistaken

Portions of proceeds of the events directly raised funds for America Coming Together which was a Political Action 527.

None of the bands including Springsteen who at this point would sell bootlegs of the sound of himself tying his shoes have released anything from the tour.  The closest thing is the documentary the two guys put together that the tenclub helped distribute for free just ahead of the 2008 election.

They were released, just not in lossless format or on cd.  And I agree, no tour since has been as incredible.  Amazing, unpredictable setlists, tight playing, and some great jamming.  "Kate, we need to go back!"

people are getting CD's less & less, with a 24.99 a month subscription to nugs you get 389 shows & counting, at last count in high quality format, I rarely even play CDs anymore

I think that was the reason they didn't do cd's for that tour- since physical media was on the decline even then.  I'm still surprised they only offered mp3's of that tour and not a FLAC option as well.
