10c perks at merch and quantity limits

The Seattle tent experience was good and bad.  I don't think 10c members with ticket should be exclusively getting a tee (although a pre-order option would be good if you have a mobile ticket).
My thought is to have a separate entrance and line for 10c members only at the Merch Tent.  I am a 10c member, but had TM tickets, so I guess if we show our number and ID?  Most members I saw weren't holding up the line and getting 20 shirts, 6 posters, etc.  Most were a fast transaction.  I also think quantity limits should be adhered.  If you are going to let people buy for their family and friend, you may as well sell these online to them.  If you show up, then you get your merch!  In Seattle you had the pop up store open to the public so things sold out fast.

People waited in the line Sunday, though cold and some rain to see this guy try to buy a stack of setlist shirts.  Another guy supposedly bought an entire box.  We know these shirts are a limited quantity, why would the checkout person even allow this?  Everyone applauded when the manager stepped in.  FYI, some setlist shirts are now on eBay for up to $150...ugh

Maybe he was purchasing them from an orphanage of under privileged children who are rabid Pearl Jam fans.

Why are people getting so bent out of shape about this?

Am I missing something?  I don't think I saw any threads talking about how PJ raised 11m for the homeless.  But yeah it sucks you cant get that t-shirt, poster, sticker or pin.

Are people really buying these shirts for  $100-150.
It's ridiculous that anyone would buy a T-shirt for that much no matter what it is, or how many were made.  I'd hope these don't sell for that and people are either stuck with extras or lower the price to $35 a piece.
However, I do think they need to limit these as no one needs a box or large stack

How do you know what someone "needs"? Who makes that decision?

Maybe it's time to cool it with posting pictures/videos on here? If someone is violating a 10C policy, send it to them and let them sort it out.

I'm a new member, I didn't know about posting pictures, I removed it.  I just wanted to show how the PJ merch guy stepped in.
