Seattle 8/8 GA line--when did it start, and how long is it currently?

Curious when the line started, and it's status.  Please update here.
Thanks!

I will arrive on Tue 7th at night, planning to go straight to the line.

Is it too crazy? I want to be in front of Eddy in my first GA show.

  • I don't recall seeing Seattle as having lineup restrictions.  First guy at Wrigley 2016 was 4 days early.  I can only imagine some folks are there for Wednesday.

Come on folks!  Someone get the info and/or pics of the line!

Line was allowed to start at 7am today.  Dimi posted a picture of it on facebook.  I don't know how to post pictures here, so I cant show it.  I'm sure someone will post a photo if there is a line later today.

just curious, what can you bring in line? can you bring beer, food? I plan on getting in line 4 or 5 hours early. Do you just have to stand there the whole time?

You're too late with that time frame.

Yeah, since people will be lined up today, you won't get that.  You could probably be 1-2 behind someone front and center though.

    Question,

im driving south from Bellingham, My buddy is driving north from Portland. If one of us arrives before the other, can we hold a spot in line for an hour or so?

It largely depends on the people behind you... but generally, no.

Best bet is to arrive and be honest and cool with anyone who arrives between.

Clearly, you've never been to Seattle. Just put that tent anywhere no one will give a shit.

I read that is not allowed. Never been in GA before but for what I have been reading, hardcore fans have their own rules.

Old generations should give a chance to younger generations to take the rail :) They dont jump enough now.

No shower is probably a good strategy in this case. Might buy a little extra room around you up front.

I'm not about to sit here and question the stamina of someone living outside a baseball park for 3 days

People who have been around police the lines.  I did MSG2 in 2016, and it was very civil.  You were able to leave to get food, bathroom breaks, shower, etc.  You just can't be gone for hours and/or days and expect to stroll right back to your spot.

Younger generations have the same shot as us old folks.  That's the whole point of GA.  But putting people in the movie showing they waited 4 days is causing this to jump the shark a bit now.

To be fair, the guy that camped for 4 days wasn't representative of everyone else near the front of the line, but he definitely helped work with security to ensure things were cool and the crowd wasn't trashing the residential street. Most people were cool with disappearing for an hour or two (get merch, food, etc) but disappearing was frowned upon. Just be a good line neighbor, police if someone's trying to cut in, and things tend to work out.
