Padova Shuttle buses

im hearing that for concert events at Padova, shuttle buses are used to get to the stadium, as it is on the outskirts of the town. Can anyone confirm this?

Padova train station to the stadium. Apparently there is no public transport that goes close to it and they don’t recommend taking a car or taxi as congestion is bad.

And it's an hour walk to the stadium. Makes sense if shuttles are put on.

From venice airport. My hotel is in padova city center. So train would be the best choice?

Ignore the ticket machines when you pick up luggage and go through to arrivals hall. There is an info desk there and they can advise on best way to get to Padua. There is a bus that goes to Mestre train station and from there it only 15 mins on train. The ticket machines are in english and Padova is one of main options. Make a note of the train time and number as this helps work out which train is yours. My train was to Rovigo via Padova. Also you will need to validate your ticket before go up to platform - machines are everywhere. The fast freccia trains are around €15 euros or the regionale trains which take about half hour are less than €4.

Okay so i checked with my hotel reception and she confirmed they will be putting on buses from outside train station to the stadium from 3pm with last bus leaving around 9pm. There will then be buses coming back from when concert ends. Not sure how much it costs yet but you buy ticket from driver onboard.

Yes, there was a similar thing in Trieste a few years ago. A couple of Euros IIRC for the bus.
