Europe 2018 - Merch Lines

How are the pre-show merch lines looking so far in Amsterdam?  Long and slow as usual in North America or are they ok?

Thanks

Maybe they don't wait until they get to the register to decide what they want and what size they need like we do

The offerings have been less than stellar and flippable.  The only cool thing has been the Keychain and socks.  Nothing else is worth getting in line for.

Please do pick up a sticker and pin for OYR please!!!  Thanks

My gumption for merch lines and merch in general has wained considerably.  I would rather see Italy than stand in lines.  If I want something bad enough I will buy or trade for it online.  Oh...and the music.  Let's not forget about the music.  Can't wait to hear the boys light it up!

Amsterdam night 1, I walked into the venue at 6:30, to the merch stand and got a poster, sticker, and pin in less than 6 minutes.
Amsterdam night 2, I picked up my 10c tickets at 2pm and walked over to the outside merch booth, got my merch in less than 30 minutes without waiting in the line before it opened at 2pm. Kicked dick!
I had a similar experience with Europe merch in 2014. Walked in and got everything I wanted for one show and waited in line for 20 minutes at the other show.

There were limits on stickers and posters and it was being enforced. Only reason I know this is the chick next to me wanted to buy a billion stickers, to cover her car I’m assuming. The merch attendant said no there is a limit. Haha fucker!

Guessing she wasn't covering her car.  She was covering her costs +. Glad to hear that limits were enforced.

A temporary Credit card machine failure always seems to be an issue at the shows I attend in the US

Do the kiosks take cash? I’m wondering if I should just bring cash and avoid that potential hassle.

I always like the "I like to get a bunch to give away" excuse.  Yeah, ok.  At Cinci '14, dude in front of me bought 30 stickers and 10 posters and used the "give them away" excuse for the stickers. I said, "Cool, give me & my friend one."

Needless to say we bought our own stickers.

Any update on how the lines have been thus far? Going to Kraków with my friend who doesn’t value getting a poster like I do so got to tread that line between getting there on time and getting there early enough!

The issue isn't the lines.  The issue is will the merch stands open on time.

So don’t stress about getting there for 3pm then? Enjoy the afternoon and get there 5ish?

Walked past the line already in Prague and had to laugh. People would rather stand in line for hours for sub par mailed in merchandise then see and take in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. To each their own.
