Official Pearl Jam Facebook Page (apparently you can deny me)

Pearl Jam should set up a REAL official ten club facebook page.  I was banned from the fake "official" ten club page tonight for simply SUGGESTING that people should be able to discuss politics there..  That's fascism. You may disagree with me, and that's fine. But to BAN me for suggesting that we SHOULD be able to talk politics is ridiculous.

    I am in that group as well, and I think that more moderation is needed to get rid of some of the redundancy and chaos.

    I hated that group. And the other pearl jam groups. There are better ones with less than 500 members in it.

    Almost impossible to believe that is the true reason for your banning. They let a lot of stuff go over there. Maybe take some personal responsibility for your words and actions?

    Also, no, a Facebook group banning you, for whatever reason, is not fascism. It's their Facebook group. They get to ban people if they feel like it.

    I agree, to some extent, that a fan club message board is silly as well. 

    My beef with Facebook is that I see so many people around me absorbed into an alternate reality that causes issues in their lives.  If people are able to utilize it for positive things I am happy for them to have that option.
