    Both shows in 2016 sold out on the first day. Within minutes if I remember correctly. I think they were the fastest concert sellouts Fenway had seen up until that point.


    Sounds about right.

    Plus there was the fiasco where tickets went on sale a day early, and those purchases were later canceled.


    What a shit show THAT was.

    August 20th Chicago and Sept 2nd Boston is a pretty big gap. 
    Phillies are away that first week and the Mets are away that second week. Would be a shame to let them sit empty and not fill them up with PJ fans.

    Wrigley August 17th weekend
    Fenway August 31st weekend '
