been titled before

this morning's shower had reminded

it is not like it ever left

let me be perfectly clear about this

there was none ever leaving

a large home

crookedly standing firm yet a lasting confusion fell about like cold bits of sky

smudged up windows would fail at hiding their meaning

still candles went in each as inviting

but after the gates along the driveway

rotten apples now against earth's breath

they do rest in a series of events from their long travels

any spring, summer or autumn they grew & flew a wind

where young have kites

where remembering is best with a simple air

other times this all is sick together

the big house's floors creak

stairs

flat

dust is a reminder of when we reached our crest

you wore your hair a yellow like the fairgrounds at night all lit up nicely

if you remember we did have summer's feet dangling nearby

when nighttime came, the wheat -

- the slow swaying wheat & moon became one

still these walls went where sadness builds

chipped paint

one day we'll redo that rusted wrought iron fence

we'll dream of our silver mine

& slip while waiting out the (kitchen floor's) predicament

inevitably birdfeeders will go empty

the christmastime birdbath will freeze as still as the river's surface

it is the acrobatics underneath flowing along

that are very similar to burning candles down each night

some will starve

glow

to be continued

    have a dick each hand

    goin to town

    town's asleep

    never fear

    their stance is fucking bullshit

yours is sound asleep as if a worthless child lost in dream

    no pillow...

    leave me alone

This poetry / of-the-self place here is like a forest to me.  Feels so nice to wander around and revel in the trees of which it's made.

Always love your words, chadwick - the thought and freedom behind them, no matter the emotions.
