I haven't seen much of anything about CC on the late night talk shows. I figured for sure that Fallon would have done something?
Colbert led in after a commercial to his band playing Black Hole Sun, but that was it. Colbert is a bit older so not so much his generation - I would think Fallon would do something for sure.

The SNL classic selection for Saturday was nice - missed the first song though due to hockey playoffs.

On the Strombo Show on CBC radio tonight, George played an interview he did with Chris around the time of the Scream album and then played Loud Love.

that one really got me.  i feel like the ones by aerosmith, u2, train, candlebox are all great, but they also seem expected.  it's when a band like gov't mule -- a band i would never imagine having anything to do with chris or soundgarden -- pays tribute that really gets me.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

was there 5 rows off the stage, it was a great cover.  later in the show warren asked the crowd to sing for Chris during lay your burden down.  you can hear it at around 1 hour 50 mins on the youtube audio of the show.

really went there hoping to hear him mention Chris/cover his music.  was driven to tears when they went into it.

for those who like Mule and are unfamiliar with the Temple of the Mule set you have to take some time and check it out.  fucking beautiful.
