I'll be heading out shortly. Was hoping to hold off until later in the day to avoid the crazies and the hour long wait to check out, but the wife has assigned me to childcare duties this afternoon. Evidently we "need" food and she has to go to Costco.

Looking for PJ and Isbell and hopefully some nice used stuff.

The one record store i go to i know the owner so I messaged him last night and asked if he got the Pearl Jam one in, unfortunately he didn't. So i didn't stand in line in the early morning. Although I did want the Alice in Chains one, but by the time i got there it was gone. Just picked up Against Me! (Stabitha Chrisite) and Prince (Batdance).

    Went early. Scored these:

    Bruce
    The Doors
    DMB
    PJ
    Star Wars

Should have grabbed Thelonious Monk too. 60 seemed pricey for a 2lp set.

Wandered in to a store at 9.15. Waited about 5 mins and got almost everything I wanted and a couple of things to trade for the things the store didn't get or sold out of. Vinyl hunters aren't quite as dedicated around these parts. I will go in on Monday and there will still be loads of stuff probably.

Add me to the list if anyone finds an extra Jason Isbell, would greatly appreciate it!
Posted in the other thread on the Porch with list of what I picked up. Arrived at my store 3 hours early, was # 80 in line and all 12 were sold out. Owner was definitely surprised that one went so fast.

    Picked up:

    PJ
    AIC
    Townes Van Zandt
    Old 97's
    Jason Isbell
    Pink Floyd
    The Lumineers

I threw on Isbell when I got home - I'm really digging this - his cover of Atlantic City is one of the best I've heard.

Got the PJ and AIC ones and passed on the U2. I couldn't justify the price on that one. Wanted The Cure but those were sold out when I got there. I love the Chemical Brothers and they had a 12" out but apparently it was UK only.
