Here we go again.
Three new boots just popped up for pre order on Soundstage Direct.
Atlanta and Chicago Vol1 and 2

Is PJ going to beat the bootleggers to the press?

Anyone going to buy these?

    Maybe a hint that one of those will be this years vault release. Last year Vegas was released by bootleggers and than later it was the vault release.

    I'd love an official Atlanta release. But Chicago could use a better sounding copy. I guess i'm fine with either if they choose one to combat the bootleggers. but TBH, I'd rather have a 96 show at this point.

    Out of the two I would pic Atlanta. Maybe a vault announcement tomorrow.

    I hope PJ just lets their lawyers take action and dont turn the Vault series into a stifling the bootleggers thing

    Any of you buy these LPs because you simply want to collect all PJ vinyl? I sort of see the allure to having these if you are the type that wants all releases..

    Didn't PJ post a pic of bootlegs? Atlanta would be cool to have as a vault.

    But because these were radio broadcasts, and there for in the public domain, in Germany (and maybe elsewhere, but not the US) its legal to press these up and sell them.

    Uhm, chicago is an FM source, but atlanta is a proper soundboard/pre fm source.. but I don't know what sources these bootleggers are using for this crap..
    Anyway Atlanta 94 it's been officially released a LOT.. the better copy would be that australian promo that contains all the songs.. no fuckin need to have this released again, unless it's a video.

    That's why I don't order from soundstage anymore, lol. They went from free shipping to Canada to THAT. :angry:

    Sure they pack it well but not worth what they charge.Since they are a bigger business you would think it would be cheaper.....

    Something fun to collect. Same reason we bought bootleg cd's in the 90s. I won't pay through the nose for a bootleg vinyl (ie order one froom soundstage) but my local store seems to bring in bootlegs, and I'll usually pick 'em up.

    They are one of the best vinyl packaging company in the business.

    When did SSD offer free shipping to Canada? First I've heard of this.

    If its cheap i'll buy the things. Melbourne 98 on vinyl was $10 and is a fun one to spin.

    And it sounds better than most studio vinyl pj has put out.
