Was driving around yesterday listing to Yield, had a thought about what it would be like to see Pearl Jam play in my backyard.

An impossible longshot for sure, but still fun to imagine.

What 10 song set would you choose? Would you choose songs you have never seen live, stick to classics or come up with a theme? Here is mine (couple personal favorites, songs I have yet to see live, as well as a few crowd pleasers):

    This reminds me of 90's MTV when they would have a backyard barbecue with bands like White Zombie.

    Anyway, if it's just my backyard and only about 10 songs, then they're going to blow the place down!

    You guys are embarrassing yourselves. They play Ten front to back. When the neighbors complain, not because of the noise but because they played 11 songs total instead of the neighborhood agreement of ten total (Ive got cool neighbors), I tell them "you said they could play Ten songs, you didnt say how many." I will then pay the overage.

    They almost did. It was heavily rumored they would play in Maine (No Code, no TM tour), but Augusta got the nod instead of my town. Bit of a drive, being newly licensed, no place to stay. Wish I'd gone now!! I actually was offered 10C tix BY 10C ON THE PHONE! Can you tell it's one of my major life regrets?

    I have been trying to get the band to play my backyard for over 8 YEARS !!!! Though someone will have to cut the lawn first. [Stone I'm lookin' at you] I think this is the reason that I have not been contacted by management . Why 10 songs ? If they ever play my yard I want a full blown 36 to 38 song set.

    If I had the money, I'd definitely offer to donate a million dollars to charities of their choice to actually play for about 60 - 90 minutes in my yard. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to function for at least a week after that. Would definitely need some HD video of this to relive forever. This would be so amazing!

    I know the rules are 10 but it's my backyard. I'd negotiate for all of the songs below but if they insisted to only play 10 I'd have to concede to cutting the songs in brackets. It would be painful though. I think they'd agree to play them all though bc the flow is much better with them in. :wink:
