And so you see, I have come to doubt

I'm curious to see how young some fans are, and how old some fans are? I know my local frame shop said he has some PJ customers in their late 60s. My high school Econ teacher was 30 and he was a huge fan, and I'm 21 and also a huge fan. Curious to know if there's any teens on here, and if there's any elders ;)

Only someone who's 21 would ask how old everyone is. I'm as old as two average PJ fans put together. My son and I got into PJ from the beginning. I don't recall if he turned me onto them or I turned him on, but we've been to several shows together through the years.
I escaped it...a life wasted...I'm never going back again

I'm sure there are a good chunk of PJ fans that are in their 70's

    64. In 91, I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

I'm also 64! Didn't even discover PJ til 2010, but I'm so glad I did!!

    19.

I became a huge Ten fan in 7th grade, around 5 years ago. To me, their was no other Pearl Jam album. Eddies vocal style really spoke to me, and his lyrics where inspirational. I picked up PJ20 during its release in 2011 during a pretty dark time in my life. I had the book and i think the movie was on Netflix at the time. I knew the other hits from Vitalogy and stuff, but i think i stopped listening by 8th or 9th grade.

Around 2 years ago, i picked up the updated reissue version of Ten on Vinyl from my local Barns & Nobles. I played the shit out of it. Not only did i re-fall in love with the album, but i started watching live footage from the old days. Early 90s videos of the band going ape shit, Eddie climbing stuff and going crazy while flawlessly hitting every note, Abbruzzese!!!! I loved the old videos and fell in love with the band even more. I played them for my new girlfriend at the time (still my girlfriend to this day!!) and SHE fell in love with them! I type this as we are currently listening to the band in Den Haag in 92 lol.

It was a little after that point where i found out Vs. and seemingly fell in love with that album on my first full play through. Eddies drinking and craziness during that time was one of the absolute best times for the bands live sound in my personal opinion. I started obsessively watching videos from 93 and 94. Ive gotten into some Vitalogy, but i don't have it memorized like the back of my hand. As for the Irons albums, i have picked up the Reissues, but i haven't had time to play them as i don't have a turntable set up in my dorm.

Luckily enough, late last year while my love of early PJ revival was happening, it was announced the band would be playing Jazzfest in my hometown of New Orleans. My girlfriend and i quickly picked up tickets. It was around that time that i became a member of 10c. I always kind of knew about it, but never looked into it. Im glad I have because its opened me up to a great group of people and endless discussion on everything Pearl Jam. I feel like i become a bigger fan every time I get on here.

    Aged 40 Years...
Was given a cassette of Ten in 91, and started mailing fan letters shortly after...
I never miss buying an album on the day of release. I used to skip school for it, now I skip work.

Thanks PJ for a 25 year soundtrack.

When Jeremy video first aired,i was 13. That video had an impact on me. Couldn't understand at the time how a kid my age thought life was so bad, that he would blow his brains out in class. In a way that I think about it now,Pearl Jam got me into thinking about politics.

I am 29 years old. I got started on PJ at about 13 or 14 when I discovered a neglected copy of the Yield CD in my older brother's collection. Fell in love and sought out everything before and after in the next few years. I think Lost Dogs was actually the first new record I might have purchased, but it is hard to remember now.

51 in a couple of weeks. Started listening in early '92 and have been hooked ever since! The music has meant so much to me in so many different ways, I couldn't even begin to explain. Now my oldest is 17, a musician, and we have been to 5 shows together.

Fifty. Same age as Stone and the Super Bowl.
It makes sense that in 91, I was 25 in college and the possessor of one of these.

    Thirty

Remember seeing Vitalogy in stores the day of release. Knew the hits before that. I was really young when I fell in love with rock. Found a 5th grade notebook with some bands written on it including PJ (also Green Day, stp, ratm)
