    1. Yes Ed makes at least one appearance.
    2. I would expect possible appearances by MLB members in Seattle
    3. Reach Down as opener??
    4. Star Dog Champion to close?
    5. Yes to covers. MLB covers for sure. Possible Mad Season cover or two and probably a couple covers that we'll be surprised with..
I'm not expecting PJ or Soundgarden covers.

Just my initial thoughts.... fun topic

    1. Yes every night
    2. Yes in Seattle Kim and maybe grohl and that bassist dude. Maybe Cantrell?
    3. Yes a lot of covers but I think open with say hello to heaven.

I hope ed and Chris duet just about anything.

I don't believe in coincidence. If ed wasn't coming they'd be touring now and more than 5 shows.

Predicting Ed at every show unless Cubs win in 7 games and parade is on opening night 11/4.

I had given up on ever hearing it live. I figured that ship had sailed, but this tour creates a unique opportunity where we don't know what to expect. I'm not counting on it, but man...... hearing ROD would be so nice, and I don't think it's completely out of the question considering what they did in January.

Regardless, I am so excited for this show, I won't be complaining about anything that doesn't get played or if a certain backup singer doesn't show up.

This is going to be amazing.

It's ok..... I cried during Long Road @ Fenway, & I can guarantee if I hear ROD, I will at least tear up a little.

Curious to see if Stone and Mike participate during All Night Thing.. (As they took a seat during PJ20)

Seems as Chris is mostly running the show, so I am curious to what other MLB songs he has chosen other than what we have heard from Ed or him solo.. Songs other than Stardog, Man of Golden Words, Chloe / Crown

The Mad Season selections if any, it would seem would be amongst those he sang at Benny.. Long Gone Day, ROD.. Etc.. there is a distinct possible this is just wishful thinking.

The covers are a big question mark? Both PJ and Chris solo seem to play a lot of Beatles and Led Zeppelin, they did the MACC Hendrix Hey Baby together..

Will they play the Black Cat and Angel of Fire Demos and if so will they have done some work on them? As is I don't think they are performance ready as is, but with some arrangement changes and some increased tempo they could be very much different live experiences..

And of course will the lead singer of this other band show up to sing background vocals and sing a duet and or lead on some of these covers.

Only a week and we can stop speculating!!!!

Ive been scratching my head for a while with what they will open with and I'm kinda thinking Pushin Forward Back Im thinking if Ed's there they'll close the main set with Hunger Strike and the show with Crown of Thorns, I'm not counting on Ed to show up but i sure hope he's at Seattle Night 1. If he's not I think each show will have some sort of guest. Hoping that some Mad Season is played, I'm sure MLB will be played and the demos. Of course there will be some covers but both bands play 3 hour plus shows so i can timeline this being a 2hour show. Whatever comes we will all be in for a treat.

I doubt it. I can't imagine any of the guys would be content with the same set every night.

Wow, never realized they stay pretty much the same. I was thinking more of the rest of the guys. They're use to playing a different set every night.

I hope Ed is there for every show

Brian Wood (Andy's brother) was in Hater with Matt, it'd be cool if he was there, as well as any surviving MLB guys

Reach Down would be a killer opening riff to any show

    Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns

"Hey Baby (Land of the New Rising Sun)" - Mike, Jeff, Matt and Chris recorded it for the Hendrix tribute record so they definitely bust this out!

And yes, we need bootlegs of these shows! Preferably a DVD/Blu Ray too...

Cornell shows have varied setlists. Not like Pearl Jam, but he will many times use a template similar to an A/B pattern using core songs on a nightly basis and rotating in more obscure tunes on alternating nights and then the most rare only a few times per tour. The formula itself is not that much different then PJ but he will have many more songs make up the core tunes.

Unlike Pearl Jam's 10+ albums of material and Chris craptonne of audioslave, soundgarden, solo, and ToTD albums, ToTD only has one album. I imagine this will constraint the setlists somewhat?

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with playing the same show each night, and a one off tour under ten shows for a band with one album would definitely be a candidate for a repeating setlist each night. Sure the can mix up the order but I think the set will include the same songs each night with 2-3 songs added/subtracted each night.

Eddie only in Seattle with all the travel for the Cubs recently.

    I'll predict that i will not :

    Watch Periscope of the show
Come here on the set list thread
Read fan reviews , or newspaper reviews
Go on any social media outlets

    For the Philly-1!!!

But, i'll do 3 of those AFTER the Philly-2 show as that's the only show i'll be seeing this tour. I don't want any spoilers so i'm staying away on Friday.

It would be beautifully fitting for those of us partaking.

After our last show (Alice), I've no predictions other than if those around us are in their own all-about-me bubbles, I will not let it ruin our time again.
