KISS Double Platinum on vinyl back in 1980 or so... lol. I was also a KISS Army member back then. That was their fan club. Recall watching their live show on HBO around the same time.
My older sisters were busy seeing all the great bands of the day and I sat home as a young teen and spun a lot of AC/DC and KISS albums as well as their collection. I remember wearing out their Queen albums... they saw Queen live in 1980 or 81; I was so jealous. My first show was The Who in 81 and then Van Halen in 84...
Michael Jackson's Dangerous or the Ghostbusters soundtrack. lol

First CD was the Police - the singles. I remember that because it was out when we bought our first CD player. For a vinyl record...oh I don't remember. Probably a ktel compilation. I had several of those when I was a kid.

Police - the Singles was one of my first cd's. U2 Live Under a Blood Red Sky, Van Halen 5150, and Police - The Singles were the first three. I got a cd player and those cd's for Xmas in 1986.

You guys probably don't want to know Being born in '92, it was most likely some band you listened to Pearl Jam to avoid! I'm guessing it was something like Spice Girls or Nsync!
Good thing my dad raised me well, on classic rock. I caught right on, and couldn't get enough. Always thankful for that musical foundation. I was probably the only kid in school who could do the rap from Wannabe by Spice Girls AND knew obscure Who tracks like Boris the Spider
Ten was the first PJ album I bought when I finally got into them in 2008.

First LP? I can't remember, but almost certainly something by the Beatles. Revolver, perhaps, or the blue or red "greatest hits" compilations. First cassette: The Police, Ghost in the Machine First CD: U2, Joshua Tree
