I don't understand how grown adults need a "piss break" during a concert. Maybe cut back of the alcoholic beverages?

I would vote for WWS or black. Off all the big hits from Ten Black is my favorite and least heard. Wouldn't mind hearing red mosquito at least once!

Most grown adults don't fear not being present for every minute of a Pearl Jam show. You can always buy the bootleg and you can hear the song in the concourse area.

I was in line for some food. I heard what I thought was a song I had not heard before so I ran out of line and got to the stairs and realized it was a reworked version of Future Days. I went back to the food line. Worked out perfectly.

I know its off topic, but I have never actually seen someone buy food at a concert. Drinks, yes. Food, no. Just found that interesting

when was the last Fixer? I figured that would remain in Just Breath territory for ever
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

You don't understand how someone might have to go to the bathroom during a 3+ hour concert?

Yes! Sounds so great live. I really do miss the Fixer (frankly, I'd love a run through the whole backspace me album) and WWS.

Save You is another one that was almost automatic for a time there and now shows up only sporadically.

I suppose that's what helps make this band so great. Some bands have 20 staples they play every night. With 2 or 3 change ups. PJ play 30-35 songs with only 6-10 staples. Some songs are are played more regularly depending on the tour etc...but generally speaking most songs get 1-2 plays during each tour except for a maybe a few.

That's why I question the regular rotation of 'cover' songs. Why play those when you have so many great songs of your own that you could play more often.

Have they ever opened with Present Tense? It might not be everyone's cup of tea as an opener but I think it would work as it's a pretty cool sing along to start off a show.

It was played pretty early @ Wrigley '13. Release was the opener, but I believe PT was in the 1st three or four songs played.

& Yes, it's a great early set song, I would love to see it as an opener.

Thunder Bay, 2005. Great night, my first show. Hooked since then. Pretty sure that was the smallest venue they have played from the 2000's up till now. Minus shows like Nashville this year.

Yes, London Ontario July 16, 2013. We were discussing what they would open with, I said 'Present Tense', thinking there was a snowball's chance in hell of that happening.
