Where are the Wrigley 1 folks staying?

I got me and da wifey a room at the Congress Plaza Hotel. Pretty bad reviews on Yelp, I checked before I booked it and it had an average of 3, now I think it's down to 2. No mention of bedbugs, just AC not working and rude staff.

So where is everyone staying?

    I stayed at Congress Plaza Hotel for Lollapalooza 2007 and what you've read is true. It was a dump and yes, the AC was spotty, at best. I'm staying at the Residence Inn downtown River North

    I'm staying at the W Hotel on Lakeshore. Room rate was $199/night and it's a decent hotel near Michigan Ave.

    I got the Renaissance blackstone on Priceline name your price for 89 I think for Saturday night.

    Crowne Plaza. A couple blocks from Union Station. Hopping on the bus right outside the hotel to take us to Wrigley.

    Got W Chicago a while ago on PRiceline for $114...and this is 4star....why do you guys pay full price for that Congress shithole....PRICELINE

    Congress as well. I check in Friday. Leave early Tuesday. I shall sleep there approximately 24 hours in four nights = don't care! Place to rest my head.

    Staying at the Rock N' Roll Days Inn a Mile from Wrigley. Rumor has it that is where the band is staying too. I was lucky to score $179/night. Now they are going for $350-$400/night. Can't Wait. If you need somewhere to store your merch for the concert, don't hesitate to reach out.

    The Days Inn Chicago has been known by many names, like the "Rock and Roll Days Inn" and the "Chicago Boutique Hotel - Days Inn on Diversey," but its history is entirely one of a kind. Many performers have stayed at our Chicago hotel throughout the years, and few hotels can boast a guest list that includes Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Black Keys, to name but a few.
    Back in the day, bands staying at the hotel meant discolored bathtubs from hair dye, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love…, Sheryl Crow rollerblading through the hotel lobby (not permitted), a front desk clerk doing laundry for the Goo Goo Dolls, Alanis Morissette bringing sushi to a front desk clerk, musicians sitting in the lobby playing the guitar.
    Today, bands still frequently visit the Days Inn hotel; not nearly as much as in the Rock and Roll days. But the stories live on. If you have any good Days Inn band stories, please contact us. We're dedicated to keeping our unique heritage alive and well, and we look forward to sharing it with you here in Chicago.

    I tried that! Maybe it was just slammed with others trying to get rooms. The Congress kept coming up as available, so I grabbed it before everything was booked up. Paid $169. not bad, location looks perfect to grab the train back and forth.
