Didn't see a thread for Rich. Anyone catching one of his shows on this tour? Saw him last night at City Winery in Chicago....fantastic! About 4 or 5 songs in he says something like "we're gonna play these next 2 songs because we fucking want to" and broke into Good Friday. Awesome show!
If you can, get there early for Bonnie Bishop. She is very good. Reminded me of early Grace Potter before she went all commercial. Performed a rendition of Whipping Post that I'll never forget. Signed a vinyl for the wife and was just sweet as can be. Check her out!

It was cool to see Sven with Rich again.
I definitely agree with the Bonnie Bishop/Grace Potter comparison. I'd like to see Bishop with a full band sometime. The Whipping Post cover was killer.

That's what I forgot to mention....didn't Sven play that bass like he's been itchin' to play? It was very good to see him playing again.
My wife said....so this is what the Crowes would sound like without Chris. I think Rich should get the band together and see if that don't move them closer to settling their differences and play as The Black Crowes already! These side projects are alright.....but I miss full on Crowes.
