longest distance of time between shows

I have a friend who saw PJ at lollapalooza '92, and is going to Wrigley with me.
That's a 24 year span between shows.
Has anybody done this with any band?
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

    I went 20 years between Tragically Hip shows (1995 - 2015). I regret it.

My first Foo Fighters show was two weeks after their first album was released, July 20, 1995, so I guess if I saw them again, that would be 21! I love Dave as a dude and a drummer, but the Foos' songs are too sugar coated for me.

I saw PJ 4 times between '95 and '98. The next time I saw them was Wrigley 2013. BUT, I'm back, baby! I saw them in Memphis in 2014 and I'm seeing them 3 times this year (Lexington and both nights at Wrigley).

I saw Slayer in 1995. And again two nights ago.

I saw Van Halen (with Sammy) in 1993 and then again with Dave in 2012.

I saw Megadeth a bunch in the early 90's (the last time in '95) and then saw them in 2010.

I saw 311 in '97, and then not again until 311 Day 2010. I've seen them twice since then.

they're not touring in 2017 so you may want to... shows are still pretty good and they've been doing something similar to pearl jam- no openers and 2.5-3hr shows.

If I go see Billy Joel this year it would be 20something years between shows. I don't remember the exact year but it was when he was touring with Elton John in the 90s.

Buuuuuuuuuuuut he plays the garden every month and tickets are about a bazillon dollars. So it's unlikely I'll go see him this year. Or any year. :disappointed:
