Man, after seeing how many people didn't win who made the same choices I did I am really grateful and thankful to the PJ ticket selection Gods. So excited.

MSG1 ga lost MSG1 res lost Philly 1 ga lost Philly 1 res lost Philly 2 ga lost Philly 2 res lost
Rationale going in was had lead on seats at Philly from family member with stadium club membership there so had that as plan B if shut out and went with MSG first. My 10c # 412xxx so worth taking the risk on ga given 10-15% odds difference for seat upgrade.

I won, but I've learned my lesson. This was my 1st rodeo.
Next time I'm going MSG-GA for whatever show I wanna see the most there as my #1 then Philly Res for any shows down there and everything else MSG just for shits and giggles.
If I lose out on the GA I'll just buy my way in somehow, but the fact that you literally can't even get GA any other way than by winning this lotto, including secondary market, makes it worth the risk.

I thought about adding Philly-2 with my 2nd choice, at the last minute, and pushing the 3 South shows down 1 spot, but didn't want to lose out on Hampton. I've got no complaints as i'll try for that Philly-2 show(Basically my hometown show) on Friday.

Wow, look at you go! Good for you - enjoy the shows! Good luck(do you really need any?) on the Philly 2 show.
As for me I only tried for Toronto reserved and scored.

My mindset was this: I was planning on going to Ft Lauderdale despite getting 10C tickets. I mean, south Florida at the beginning of April is really nice after a winter in Pittsburgh. Plus I have family there as well. So I put in for GA because I always put in for GA (and lose). Hampton was happening, too, because it is only a six and a half hour drive.

This is an exable how u can waste entries U put msg ga first...its luck if win or not But.second is a waste to put ga the next msg show..not a chance to get it..first cos if u win msg 1 cant win msg 2..second with that demand cant win ga at msg show ad 2nd priority..and same as msg 1-2 as priority 3-4 So what was the most logic with the odds to win more than the one u won was to.put 1.MSG 1 -GA 2.PHILLY RES

I really have no interest in doing GA, but one of those shows that I'd love to be in the building for (and could always probably trade a GA for Res with someone)
My initial thought was to do Quebec and figuring with a 99% for Res, I'd have no problem getting a ticket. But my wife wanted to try and pull the trigger for NYC. I got lucky. No other way to look at it.
1) MSG 1 Reserved - Lost 2) MSG 2 Reserved - Lost 3) MSG 1 GA - Lost 4) MSG 2 GA - Lost *None had odds better than 10%, not surprised

Also remember there were no Boston shows this round. That pushed the demand up even higher than normal for MSG and Philly. Throw two Boston shows in the mix and there would have been a lot more success in NYC and Philly.

Everyone noticing a trend? "Most" people that put in for smaller shows like Columbia and Hampton won and most that went for high demand shows like msg or philly did not. A direct correlation with the odds. My advice, if it's feasible in the future, and you can take a road trip or sometime off try and play the odds
Really curious why philly was in such demand this time around?
especially the thursday night show. I was shocked i didn't get reserved tickets as my second choice. In fact I thought that was my lock. In order to alleviate some pressure on the high demand shows (mainly nyc and philly) you need additional shows in hartford, d.c., boston, albany...etc.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
