Please cover EODM tonight vs. playing ARC or (fill in somber song)

I think on behalf of the victims of last night's show, the ailing music world and their friend Josh Homme... PJ should cover an EODM song tonight instead of playing Arc or something somber. The people who died loved their music and it would be a fitting tribute... Their music is anything but somber...

I pick this one...

    Nice idea! It would certainly be interesting to Ed deliver an EODM song :lol: I hope everyone in attendance celebrates life, music and love tonight. Just like the people wanted to last night.

    Great idea. I do hope Arc is played as well. It's a somber horrible event that is so fresh in our minds and Pearl Jam always has a great way of elevating the mood and bringing it down, then elevating it again. EODM tribute would be a wonderful show of solidarity and a middle finger to those who think enjoying music is for infidels and idolaters. But I really hope there are Riot Act songs tonight. They are healing. Room for both I say!

    Weird, I saw the EoDM at a tiny bar right down the road from me in West Chester, PA called The Note (it was owned by Bam Margera) 7 years ago last night. Of course they played I Want You So Hard. Almost forgot i taped that song.

    yeah that was a fun night. Duke Spirit opened up for them and Leila Moss joined in on I Wanna Be in LA.

    Not sure if you've seen the video for Cherry Cola, but I'm almost 100% positive i was at the show where this took place. The first time they played philly that i'm aware of was in '05 at a bar called the Khyber. I bought Peace Love Death Metal there. Then a year later they played the same bar which I was also at. i'm pretty sure that's where this one came from. I looked for me in the crowd but couldn't see myself. Thought i was up towards the front. bar closed a few years back.
